Outrageously Over Priced - Grossly overpriced! I found that a local tour agency offered the same trip in a car, same itinerary, for £25. Viator charged me £110 !! I have no idea how they have the nerve to charge 500% extra. The tour guide I had was excellent, polite, punctual and knowledgeable. I cannot fault him at all. My problem is with the HUGE and indecent profit Viator are making off the backs of the local tour operators. In future, I will not use Viator .... I will book direct with local tour agencies at a fifth of the price! Be warned!!

Ooty, conoor and pykara trip - We as family of 4 reached ooty from hyderabad to coimbatore via indigo flight and stayed from 01-06 April 2024. Around 1300 hrs we reached ooty ratan tata guest house from coimbatore by taxi service provided by suresh of ooty +91 94863 05001. First day we took rest. Second day we started at 1000 hrs and went to dodapetta peak. Stayed there for 1 hr and it was worth. After that we went to tea factory and chocolate factory. Stayed there for 1hr and it was good. After that we came to wax museum and horror house which was not great so can be skipped. We did some shopping at TN silk emporium and was good. We had lunch at A2B hotel which was decent. We went to murugan temple on erk hill which was good as not in tourist itinerary of many. We went to one more chocolate museum due to my daughter wish which was good. Tea factory and chocolate factory visited had 80rs entry charges and this choco museum had 50 rs charges. Wax museum is not worth and can be skipped. We didn't went to rose and botanical Garden as there were no flowers in first week of April and our guest house had more flowers. Around 1600 hrs we reached Oooty lake and did boating. We were 4 and so shared with another family of 4 for a boat of 950 rs for 20 min. Worth once. Second day we had already booked toy train ticket in advance online a month back for ooty to conoor train. 9.15 train started and 1020 reached conoor. Not a great journey but for kids one time worth. Taxi was waiting at conoor and then we went to dolphin nose, lamb rock, clicked some photos enroute in tea gardens, had lunch at one dhaba with veg thali which was ok ok. Went to SIM park which was good where boating was closed. Went to strawberry farm and bought some non alcoholic wines too. Came back to room at ooty by 1700 hrs. Third day we went to pyakar water fall which was good, pykara lake but didn't do boating as we did in ooty lake, 6th mile and 9th mile shooting spots, pine tree forest which were all worth. We didn't went to madurmalai wild life sanctuary view it was hot and no elephants were coming out on roads so no point to visit. Came back to toom by 1630. Fourth day we took rest and fifth day we flied back via coimbatore to hyderabad. Ooty conoor is max 4 days but we wanted to chill so had stayed extra. Coimbatore to ooty taxi 3000 and same for return Local ooty -1700 Conoor trip-2000 Pykara trip-1600 First week April was not peak season so slightly less taxi rates. Overall a good stay and good fun for family. Ooty was sunny in day and ok ok from evening. Day temp was around 23 and evening was around 17. So it was pleasant. Pykara trip was slightly sunny. Rest all was good.

Amazing experience - Our stay at Kings Cliff was truly wonderful, with the standout feature being the incredible staff. Every team member was exceptionally friendly and cooperative. One area for improvement, however, would be the kitchen equipment. It would be beneficial for the hotel management to invest in better equipment that keeps food warm, especially during the winter months. For example, adding a hot plate and microwave in the breakfast buffet area, along with other heating options, would help maintain food temperature. During breakfast, we noticed that the food often arrived cold, and the staff had difficulty keeping it warm. Additionally, the restaurant menu is limited to Continental, Chinese, and North Indian dishes—introducing some local specialties would add variety and enhance the dining experience.”l
