BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER. Funny, smart, and answered all our questions. Highly recommended. The f was excellent and fresh. - The tour guide was awesome, details oriented, and had a great knowledge of his country. We highly recommend this tour guide. His sense of humor added a plus to the tour. We were welcome at all the restaurants we stopped at.

Should Be called Fine Foods and Fusion Tour By Wendle - No amount of words in the english language wil even began to cover , compliment or describe the above the top professionalism and knowledge that our tour guide Mr Wendle possessed. From the begining to the end was an absolute pleasure, and a time was had walking, learning and discovering all about Aruba through his eyes and experiences. We learned so much and all the food stops had the utmost regard and respect for Mr Wendle. Everywhere we went we were treated like family and given great customer service! And oh the food, although small bites, added up to a full course meal by the end with dessert and bubbly! We stayed out really late as we were visiting Aruba on a cruise (It will be a longer tour than listed so please plan accordingly!!) But OMG this tour is a must do must see when in Aruba!!! And tell Uncle Wendle , Mike and Lasheka sent ya!!!

Just Fair, Not Great. - We had a good sized total group of 15 attendees for the Aruba Food Fusion Tour last night. We visited 4 establishments to sample food and drink through our 3.5 hour event. Our host Wendle, shared Aruban history and insights on walks between food stops. It was frequently difficult for the large group to hear and understand our host on the busy streets on Oranjestad. We have been on a number of Food Tours in cities around the US and Europe, thought this was only fair. The food was a good sample of Aruban cuisine, but nothing special. The evening felt long and labored at the final conclusion. Our guide thought it was appropriate to weigh in with his views on the immigration issues in the US to the Americans on the tour. We didn’t need to hear his opinions on this tour. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the group from all over, which was fun. But overall I would rate our experience as only fair, 3/5.

Good for those that like to hear local history and sugary drinks - Description of tour did not specify that there would be a great deal of time spent hearing historic information about Aruba. Not much description or detail about the food or drinks. Drinks were all very sugary. Food was interesting and good. Probably wouldn’t recommend this unless you like to hear about the local history and sugary drinks.

Heavy on great history food sampler - This was more of a history tour than a classic food tour. Very informative and knowledgeable and kind tour guide. Not a lot of food so plan on filling in before or after. Cuban stop was our favorite. Able to see a lot of Oranjestad in the 4.5 hr to tour. Says ends around 830 but more like 10 pm so the cruisers had to skip our dessert venue. It’s the only food tour and I can’t wait to see how it expands over time .

Disappointment in the Food Offered - We enjoyed the excellent guide but found the restaurants , well, we would not go back to any of them. There was some disappointment in not hearing more history of the actual buildings but we did learn quite a bit from our guide who was fun. The first place offered a type of fried polenta and some fried fish balls, second was ceviche and boiled beef on plantain, third were Johnny Cakes , two which held fish and chicken, and last was cheesecake. We did not go away hungry however.

Don’t waste your money!! - Evil was terrible!! She focused on history and not food. Most of her history facts were useless. The tour needs to focus on food. For the price definitely not worth it. They had us meet at the Hyatt when we could have had our car downtown to avoid waiting and waiting for cabs when the tour ended 1 hour later than expected. One restaurant wasn’t ready for us Evie should have texted them we were on our way. Only Anchor fish told us about the food. Evie concentrated on buildings. Totally waste of our time and money!! Should have called it after 2 stops!!

The worst tour! Save your money!! - That was the worst tour The tour guide was terrible Food was never explained except at Anchor And had we known where we were ending we would have driven our car there instead of waiting and waiting for taxis One restaurant was not ready for us too much history of buildings and not enough on the food You should bill this as a walking history tour with some food thrown in Extremely disappointed and will not recommend!!
