Excellent food accompanied with lovely people - The food and drinks were both tasty and refreshing , Evelyne’s commentary of historic events that occurred on our walks to the restaurants made the tour very entertaining. I would recommend the tour to all who visit Aruba. We also had a lovely time getting to know the other members on the tour

Start your stay in Aruba with the 'Fusion of the World Food tour'.....a great intro./investment!! - This was a great start to our vacation in Aruba, as it introduced us to some excellent dining options in Oranjestad, while orienting us to local Aruban history and shopping possibilities. The tour guide, Milton Hazel, was very knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic about introducing our group to the finer points of Aruba and Oranjestad. The restaurants he lined up provided a nice variety of food and drink, and the walk between each provided time to digest for the next location. To top off the tour, Milton provided us with and a cappella version of the Aruba national anthem, right next to an old fort in town.....fantastic!!

Ok experience, as had high expectations - Overall, the experience was ok. We have done a couple of good tours in Mexico and those have set the bar high. Positives: our guide “Hazelnut” was fabulous. Loved the knowledge he shared about Aruba and he was funny and kept the evening light. At the end he even sang the Aruba national anthem beautifully! Negatives: overall the food was ok. Opus was very welcoming and sincere. The soup was good. Cuba’s Cookin was my favorite and they were very nice. The mojitos were unbelievably delicious as were our 2 samples. The West Dock was not a good stop and the tour should consider replacing it. While we were seated quickly, it took forever for our food sampling. Last stop was an Italian place, Italy in the World, I think. Sangria was ok as was the cheesecake. Would have preferred to have an Italian dessert, maybe tiramisu or cannolis.

Disappointing tour on many levels - Taxi pickup from hotel was 25 minutes late, it still had another pickup to make, then the driver drove dangerously to the meeting point. Other people on the tour arrived by taxi even later. So, the tour got off to a bad start. Opus restaurant was great. Cuban restaurant also good. Westgate service was awful, with not even enough chairs for our group. Food was mediocre. Tour guide was ok but added far too much political commentary for a vacation tour. There were only 4 small food stops but it took 4 hours due to late start, lack of seating and slow service at Westgate. We had been to 2 of the restaurants already, so would prefer to know where exactly each specific date tour will go. I have been on 15+ foodie tours and this was sadly by far the most disappointing. Getting a taxi at the end of the tour was also a challenge since the Radisson bell stand people gave all cabs to their own clientele.
