Revving Up for Adventure

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself standing at the starting point of the Aruba ATV Adventure with a sense of anticipation bubbling inside me. As a former professional surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of the ocean, but today, I was trading the waves for the rugged terrain of Aruba’s north coast. The air was filled with the scent of salt and adventure, and I couldn’t wait to kick up some dirt on an ATV.

Our guides for the day, Nahym and Myron, greeted us with warm smiles and an infectious enthusiasm that immediately put me at ease. However, a recent knee injury made me hesitant to take the plunge.

Nahym and Myron were incredibly supportive, encouraging me to give it a try but never pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference, and I was grateful for their guidance as I carefully navigated the rocky terrain. While I ultimately decided not to jump in, I still enjoyed the serene beauty of the cave and the camaraderie of my fellow adventurers.

As we made our way back to the starting point, I couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible journey we had just experienced.
