Great escape room experience! - Challenging and fun. Great experience! Took my 19 year-old daughter there to cap off our vacation to the Orlando area. She’s a pro at escape rooms and it challenged both of us quite a bit. Staff was very helpful without giving too much away. Would definitely recommend!

A great evening with Friends! - We had a great time! We are inexperienced escapists but love puzzles. We were on track to solving the puzzle with a couple of hints but ran out of time! We will be back to try another puzzle on our next visit to Orlando!

Greetings from Escape Rooms Durham (UK) - Me and my girlfriend did Sherlock Studies on Saturday. We enjoyed it very much and decided to do At Odds With the Gods the following Monday. We escaped both. There was the right level of challenge for both rooms. Some puzzles we understood immediately and others required more thinking outside the box and that is a good thing for an escape room. The two guys running our games (Flint for both and Chris for the Sherlock) did a very good job and were very helpful with the hints that they gave, not making them too obvious. I didn't mention it to them, but I do work for an escape room myself back in the UK (Escape Rooms Durham) and always enjoy visiting others to see where they differ from us and the similarities. Definitely earned the badge of #1 escape room in Orlando. Had we more time and a few more people, we would have done the other games too!

Had a great time. - Had a great time with the family. Our game host Flint, was very helpful and explained how it all worked. The rooms are cleverly done. For our first time, we did really well and only struggled at the end. We got some hints with some final clues, and we solved it! Great experience.

Pick Any Game and You'll have a Great Time - We actually did a total of three games at this place over the course of a week. All were amazing for different reasons, but the one that stood out the most to us, in terms of experience were the Sherlock themed one, and Fright Before your Eyes. I would like to quickly review both. The escape effect venue is very impressive, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and very professional. Sherlock's Study is a typical escape room in the sense of it being more reliant on locks, puzzles, and codes. However, any fans of Sherlock will both love this escape room, and also be at a significant advantage over those who might have seen only the Guy Ritchie movies. My brother is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and got really into solving the case; Each puzzle you solve gives you a clue, and you need to collect them all and try to figure out the location, time, motive and the primary suspect. I'm more of a hands-on person, than the cerebral type, but I can't deny that trying to solve the mind map was really fun. Like the other escape room, the theming in this one is great. It's really like you're in a late victorian-era study. We got stuck in this one a lot, and our game master was extremely helpful. Like my brother, she is also a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. After the game she would point out any of the stuff we missed, and explained to us the way the various mechanisms worked. Very impressive stuff, especially for a venue that's not part of a franchised chain. Fright before your eyes is a perfect introduction to escape rooms. Whereas most escape rooms rely on locks, codes, logical puzzles, Fright Before your Eyes relies on one's ability to gather contextual clues and find the right item (which is "haunted"). I can see virtually everyone enjoying this, because it is heavily story-driven, and gives you a ghost-hunting experience. I am a horror junkie, and spent the 90-or-so minutes with the widest grin on my face. It's not scary, so kids will enjoy, but it has all the right vibes- especially if you play it in the evening. Wholeheartedly can recommend this to anyone looking for a different escape-room experience, or for those who are in Orlando in October. In a way, I just wish the game would've lasted longer. Good creepy/scary rooms are really hard to find. After solving the room, I was too dumbfounded to actually ask any of the questions that I had- It's just a really unique experience, and I wish I would've understood the way the room worked on a technical level because it was so unlike anytrhing that I've experienced. TL;DR - This place is really, really sweet - and I hope that the next time I find myself in Orlando, I'll be able to do some if not all of the remaining rooms, because I'm sure that they'll be just as cool as the one's we've tried. The staff is very helpful during the games, and show a high level of enthusiasm in explaining what the customers might have missed and explaining the lore, and technical features of the rooms. I had a really good time, and I'm happy that I went, and I'll try to come back soon.

Sherlock Studies newbie - Most of us were first time escape room players. This was a great experience for newbies. Puzzles were difficult but not impossible to figure out. They gave free hints if you were stuck. The rooms were well themed for a Sherlock Holmes inspired mystery. Would come here again!

This was pretty fun! - I went my family of five and we had quite a bit of fun. The puzzles were quite tricky we felt there may have been details left out but it was our first escape room and the staff gave us as many hints as we needed. We didn't win but we walked away saying we all had fun.
