Fantastic fun - Our group, consisting of 16 staff members, embarked on an ATV tour on a rainy Wednesday. Despite the weather, the ride was fantastic, offering breathtaking scenery and an exhilarating pace. Our tour guide, Grétar, was exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The rain didn't dampen our spirits, as the waterproof gear provided kept us dry and warm throughout. I would suggest wearing a traditional Icelandic knitted wool sweater for added comfort.

Sand, seals & ATVs! - We had a great time driving the ATVs on the black sand beach. Our guide was fantastic ensuring that everyone in the group were safe and enjoying the experience. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to share - including pointing out seals swimming in the waves. He gave us plenty of time at the stops for photos and overall was a fantastic guide.

Book it…you’ll love it! - Fun, thrilling and beautiful ATV ride on picturesque black beach in Iceland. Probably the highlight of our 10 day trip. Our kids (23, 21 and 18) had an absolute blast. Dad loved it and mom did, too, but was a little afraid of tipping over. I wouldn’t have, but it sure got my heart rate up! Would definitely recommend this cool experience.

Awesome experience - The views of the Atlantic Ocean were amazing! Such a fun time! Would do it again in a heartbeat! Such a memorial experience. Tour guide was nice!

Surreal - Riding down the beach and seeing all the birds take off as we came around the sand dune . The black sand was beautiful!

We had overcast weather... - We had overcast weather with a few sprinkles, but we geared up with warm overalls and rain gear provided by the tour company and had a great time! We saw an otter, several species of birds including swans, seagulls, ducks. Our guide also gave us several tips about the region. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

A very exciting experience - The two hour ATV tour was awesome. I’d never tried quad biking before, and it was so exciting! We explored lava fields, saw a lava cave, went up (and down) a mountain with great views at the top and drove fast along the black beach. The bike was straightforward to handle and the instructor took great care to ensure I was OK the whole way through. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this tour - We loved our ATV on black sand beach tour! Big G was THE BEST tour guide! My husband and I actually ended up being the only ones scheduled for our tour time so it worked out very well and we got a private tour. We had the most beautiful perfect sunny day with not a lot of wind. It was ideal conditions to ATV along the coast. We even got to see some highly active curious seals playing near the beach. The ATVs were automatic so super easy to learn how to drive and they provide everything you need for outerwear: helmet, gloves, coveralls, boots if needed. Would highly recommend booking this tour, it was a highlight of our trip!
