A nice excursion and attentive staff - Overall, we had a great day, the crew being friendly and providing clear explanations (in Greek and English), especially about the history of the volcano. The duration of the stages is well thought out and allows time to discover the volcano, the hot springs, and the island of Thirasia. On the return the crew made sure to show us Oia seen from below along the cliff, which was great. On the other hand we found the hot springs a little disappointing. We had a memory of warmer and slightly bubbling springs, not just a slightly warmer brownish water creek with questionable hygiene. The walk up to Fira (588) steps was physical but friendly (25min). Those wanting to climb up by cable car having to queue for a while (not for the descent). The other option is to go up on a donkey.
