Travel from Rome towards Umbria, a region abundant with olive trees and quaint medieval towns. Guests will be picked up from their hotel or apartment in Rome. In a comfortable private minivan, they will arrive at the historic city of Assisi, renowned for the Basilica of San Francesco and its spiritual and beautiful ambiance. Visitors will explore the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, where they can enter the famous Porziuncola for prayer, a significant site of Franciscanism and a pilgrimage destination. With a private local guide, they will also visit the Basilica of Santa Chiara, where his body is preserved, and the church that houses the recently beatified Charles Acutis. After wandering through the narrow streets and monuments of Assisi, there will be free time for lunch.
