A very pleasant evening ride and dinner - Whilst Orvieto is not a big ride, we enjoyed our evening. Learnt lots about early Orvieto and went to parts we had not walked. Dinner next to the Duomo was very nice. Great local wine.

Great time - Great eBike around Orvieto. Such great knowledge and I learned a lot. Even though it was cold and I was the only one crazy enough to want to tour .... we still did the tour. So great to hear about the history and wander the mostly empty (thanks cold) streets.

Orvieto Must Do Tour - Paulo was a great guide. He is a font of Orvieto history. The tour included a tour off the Orvieto Underground which is a fantastic story of geology and history. The trip concluded with a wonderful dinner with Orvieto Superiore wine at Doumo Square.

Fun and delightful e bike Orvieto - We had a delightful e bike tour in Orvieto. The weather was very changeable. It was cool and windy in the morning and hot and sunny in the afternoon and slightly rainy and windy. In the evening and cooler. our guide, Paulo, lives locally and knew all the history of Orvietto, including geological and antiquities of the churches, piazzas, and castles. The E bikes were fun. I wouldn’t recommend them on a busier day as it’s hard to get around the people that are walking and the cars that are stopping. The food was delicious prepared by a local family in their restaurant next to the Douro with their delicious family wine being served and homemade eggplant Parmesan. Bread. And olive oil.

A fantastic ride! - Paulo was a fantastic host, knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained the history of Orvieto and the various eras in fine detail. The bikes functioned flawlessly and were comfortable and easy to ride with the electric assist when needed. The dinner at the end of the ride was fabulous and we were very very happy. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Orvieto!

Two thumbs up - A complete E-bike tour of the town of Orvieto. Our guide was very thorough in his history of the town, showing us some of the under ground caves from early times. A wonderful dinner, including wine in the square looking at the Duomo. Highly recommend this tour.

A magic city and a magical experience! - Where do I start? The experience was an evening eBike ride around the cobblestone streets of the ancient walled city of Orvieto and it was to include a little wine and a snack. What actually occurred was so much more that we are still talking about how magical the evening was! First and foremost, the town is lovely. The bikes were terrific (not going to lie, the electric portion of our transportation was invaluable) and the stops around the walls of the city (along with places of interest within the city itself) were perfectly measured, but the pièce de ré·sis·tance was the after-tour "snack" at the exquisitely-situated Cantina Foresi on the Piazza del Duomo. Alessandro and his mother could not have been more amazing hosts! Paolo led us down into the wine cellar beneath the restaurant where we saw barrels and bottles that were decades old in a space that was centuries older. The current owner is the grandson of the cafe's founder, which has been in this space since 1953 and the cellar dates back some 700 years! Once seated in the Piazza out front of the cafe, Alessandro's momma (whose name, unfortunately, I do not remember, but she seemed perfectly content being called momma) kept the food courses coming (perfectly matched by all of the wine pairings that Alessandro offered) well past 10PM when we had the square to ourselves. BTW, can I mention that I have become a big fan of the Orvieto Classico, a dry white wine grown and bottled locally? We shared the experience with a wonderful family from Colorado, who agreed that the entire evening could NOT have been any better. Paolo, who owns a number of eBike experiences throughout Italy has done a terrific job of putting together this special Orvieto tour. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Excellent bike tour - Our guide, Paolo was excellent- so knowledgeable and patient. The restaurant experience afterwards was not as great. Food was ok, service felt rushed

Fun way to get acquainted with this magical city! - Paolo is very knowledgeable about the history of this area, and biking from point to point was so fun! We started in daylight and finished in the dark (we had lights on the bikes), and it was great to see the city from both perspectives. The tasting-dinner and wine that followed (and the visit to the amazing wine cellar!) also were highlights. You might want a little backpack for personal items and water, as there isn't a way to secure a purse to the back of the bike. But he kindly carried my purse in his backpack, so it worked out just fine. He offers other bike tours, which i'd like to try as well. This was a good value and a fun experience.

The bike ride itself... - The bike ride itself through town. Was hoping for more riding than stopping. Paulo was very good on the history of churches and city.
