Quick interesting tour - The history behind Orvieto is fascinating. Very knowledgeable guide. Well worth the money. If you are claustrophobic don’t go!

Worth visiting - Outstanding, admission is more than fair. Nice activity not too long. Never seen anything like that. Easy to approach from the foniculor.

Well of the quarry - Orvieto - A fascinating cultural outing. Together with the well of St. Patrick and the cathedral, it is a remarkable historical and cultural Attraction of Orvieto. The hike takes about 20-30 minutes. There is no Guide, but there are descriptions along the way that are sufficient and exhaustive.

Worth the visit - Very interesting to see the caves that lie under the city in a self guided tour. I like self guided so we can go at our own pace. Also a beautiful cool refuge from the July heat!

Interesting - Short but very informative and interesting visit, in the underground of the city, to discover ancient Etruscan works.

Instructive experience on the Etruscan, medieval and Renaissance underground areas. - It was a surprise. We ended up with a complete and informative experience. Although the guided tour had to be booked in advance, along the entire underground route there were captions in various languages. We were practically the only ones, and it was cool. At the end of the path there was also a bar and a bathroom.

Well of the Quarry - Small well with basements, pleasant to visit in about twenty minutes, to immerse yourself in the life of Orvieto bygone times.

Visited from outside - Visited only from outside, while husband and son went down with the guided tour thoroughly; not comparable to that of St. Patrick but still very beautiful, there is a well-made nativity scene visible even from above, many exhibits.

Another well - Although not comparable to the Well of St. Patrick, it is still very interesting to see, with its basements and preserved artifacts.

A stop that should not be missed if you go to Orvieto - Visit in complete autonomy, the place is very nice. The interior is truly evocative and in my opinion deserves to be seen.
