Emma was the best tour guide ever! - Our tour was excellent! Our tour guide Emma was the best tour guide we hired throughout our two week trip to Italy. Emma was born in Orvieto and lives nearby in a very small village accessible only by footbridge. It is clear the passion she has for Orvieto. Her historical knowledge was outstanding, and she answered any questions we had. The tour of the Cathedral was the highlight. Emma was very kind and truly engaged with us. I can’t speak more highly of this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Emma as your guide. We hope to come back to Orvieto, it’s a magical place. Thank you Emma, for making our time in Orvieto wonderful!

Orvieto - Marica, our guide was great. We were grandparents with our 13 year old grandson. She was able to give us all wonderful information. In addition, she was a lovely young lady and fun to share the afternoon with.

Orvieto and it’s Cathedral - Magdalena was a wonderful guide. She was patient, informative, and showed us historical features along the way we would have never noticed other wise. We were a group of 4 couples—ages 59-77 —and she allowed us “flatlanders” time to ascend the hill in our own time. Her knowledge of the cathedral and its frescoes, bas relief features and it’s unusual history over time was remarkable. She even recommended a lunch place and walked us there to make reservations. This is a must see tour.

Beautiful - This is another amazing part of this very ancient and amazing medieval city. The Duomo or cathedral was completed around1200AD. The colours of the marble on the outside are very striking and different. The inside is beautiful as you would imagine. the Duomo is surrounded by a large Piazza which makes the whole area very attractive. It costs nothing to go in and if in the area or visiting Orvieto this would be a must.
