The tour’s first stop is the historic city of Assisi, renowned for the Basilica of San Francesco and its spiritual and beautiful ambiance. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, where they can enter the famous Porziuncola for prayer, a significant site of Franciscanism and a pilgrimage destination. With a local guide, guests can also explore the Basilica of Santa Chiara, where his body is preserved, and the church that houses the recently beatified Carlo Acutis. After wandering through Assisi’s narrow streets and monuments, there will be free time for lunch. The tour will then proceed to Orvieto, a city steeped in history and charm, famous for its magnificent Gothic cathedral, which can also be admired from the inside. The return to Rome is planned for late afternoon.
