Gucci, Prada, Temples , Deer & More! - Great The Kyoto and Nara day tour was an awesome way to explore two of Japan’s most historic cities in one go. Kyoto’s temples, like the red gates at Fushimi Inari, were seriously impressive. Nara was a must see, with the “friendly” deer roaming around. It was a fun, easy way to see a lot in just one day. To top it off we had a very professional, charming, and well dressed (draped in Prada) tour guide that made every moment memorable. Would 10/10 recommend this tour!

An amazing day exploring Kyoto and Nara. - This day trip was a great way to get around Kyoto and see the sites. The Sabu Sabu lunch was fantastic. Highly recommended if you are short on time or you’re just tired from all the walking in Tokyo. Very well organised meeting spot near Kyoto train station.

A great day out! - Harry was our guide for the day and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We would never have seen so much in one day if we tried doing all the attractions ourselves

Seriously consider this tour - The tour touched several major attractions in the Kyoto/Nara area. However, these were all very, very crowded but this was one of my major reasons to take the tour so that navigation and access issues were eased. In effect you got dropped off and left to your own devices for a bit more than an hour at each but you shouldn’t expect too much with the amount of travel and crowds. Plenty of interesting info from Mike, the guide, as we drove between attractions. Lunch was great fun with Shabu Shabu, sitting on the floor. The lunch stop was very efficiently organised. I think at the price we paid we got a bargain

Guide needs to supply crackers - The guide was very difficult to hear (too soft spoken on the bus) and often just waived us in the direction to go. But overall it was a pleasant day and easy enough to follow the other tourists. My one suggestion would be for Nara Park deer encounter. Have the deer crackers for everyone on the bus even if it is an up charge because when you get there at 4 pm there are NO CRACKERS TO BE HAD AND NO FUN (:

Okay, but needs work. - It's expansive and you see a lot but there is no bathroom on the bus and it's a long-time between stops. You are basically left free to room with no guidance or direction at each locale, and you get the impression if you are late, the bus will leave without you. I might pick a tour that was just a morning at Nara and afternoon at Kyoto next time, and just skip the bamboo forest of Osaka because it's just okay in comparison. Agency is very organized though and our bus guide was multilingual.
