It dates from medieval times and is one of only 12 Japanese castles to have been perfectly preserved. UNESCO has also designated this castle as a world heritage site. That’s wonderful! And now, it offers himself to our visits.
• Wanoyagura - The west wing of the castle constitutes the second part of the visit. We discover the apartments of the samurai, the ladies in wedding, then Princess Sen, and their way of life is explained to us.

This tour takes place in a historic castle. Himeji Castle is one of 12 Japanese castles still very well preserved with their wooden main keep still existing. We can still visit it today without any problems. The castle dates from 1346 and we currently see it as it was in 1618.
