Highly recommend! Best tour in Japan - After being Japan for nearly 3 weeks and having many, many guides, Andy was the best! The food spots he took us to were special, mostly spots for locals that specialized (excelled) in a particular food. I would have walked by them and would have never known the deliciousness I was passing by. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic food tour - Had a great tour with Tim with a great group of people. We had a nice mix of foods, each unique to its own in a local part of Osaka. Tim did a great job of explaining each restaurant and the dishes we ate, as well as some great stories of his time in Japan and the area itself. With perfect Japanese, he guided us from place to place and his rapport with the staff made us feel right at home. Great evening, thanks Tim!

Fast food, fast friends - Great food, and fun times with Tim. He shared personal anecdotes with our group and was able to accommodate my “no tako (octopus)” diet even at our takoyaki stop! We had so much fun, the group of us went out for drinks after!

The Best Food Tour in Ōsaka! - Highly recommend the tour to anyone travelling through Ōsaka and want to experience some of the wonderful local food here. Scott our guide for the evening was an amazing host with some hilarious stories, telling us about the in’s and out’s of his time in Japan, his time living here and the local culture. Really enjoyed speaking to him and the other guests and bonding over a few of the local beers and some amazing food. The staff at each restaurant we went to were all really friendly to us and Scott did an amazing job at telling us what each dish was and how it was prepared. Overall a really great night and definitely made some amazing memories! Big thank you to Scott and the team!

100/10 experience!! Would recommend this to everyone! - If you are coming though Osaka I would definitely book this for your first night. The tour was a great way to get a feel for Osaka and Andy was happy to make himself available for any recommendations/things to do after the tour was over. Andy was an amazing tour guide and this experience was one of a kind. You can definitely see how passionate Andy is about what he does and his enthusiasm is infectious. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Japanese food, history, and culture. Also, as someone who has severe food allergies I often feel uneasy about trying new foods. Andy was attentive and happy to accommodate my needs which made me feel at ease during the tour. Overall a great experience and I would book a tour with Andy again.

A must to do - Andy mixes historical and local knowledge to great effect to produce a lovely and interesting food tour. It is obvious that he puts a lot of time and effort (beforehand ) into organising the tour so that it runs smoothly. This is a great introduction to the cuisine of Osaka. It is a MUST if you are in Osaka.

Best Osaka food tour - This food tour in Osaka was the best food tour I took during my stay in Japan. I had also done a tour in Kyoto and Tokyo but the enthusiasm and expertise of Andy made this amazing. He brought our group to many authentic and delicious stops. You cannot go wrong if you book this tour! Thank you for all of the laughs and delicious foods.

Good way to try street food and connect with fellow travellers in Osaka - We enjoyed this tour with Tim. It was a good way to try local street food and you will be super full by the end of the Tour. Noting the tour is “street food” so you’ll be sampling foods that aren’t as healthy as other foods you might try in Japan. We would have enjoyed more explanation around what we were eating and the background. But a nice way to connect with fellow travellers on a night in Osaka.
