A MUST if you like to have fun! - Completely shellshocked from cultural differences in Japan? Need a guide to show you how to have fun and drink around dive bars like we love to do in the US?? THIS IS THAT TOUR! What an experience. Having been here for an entire week already, completely intimidated when trying to even “get-by” in bars/restaurants this whole time… this guy Rodney (native English speaker) pulls up and it’s like that veil of intimidation and “unsure-d-ness” is lifted. He took us to several bars, speaking fluent Japanese with everyone along the way, recommending food and drink as we go. We started in a busy pub, with GREAT small plate food (think Tapas) with beers and cocktails as an icebreaker, and everyone got to know each other. Then we go for a stroll and he teaches us some Osaka history before popping his head in to the TINIEST bar I’ve ever seen (until later….!) with a “sumimasen!” and checks to make sure there was room for the 5 of us. He knows all the local pub owners, bartenders, etc. My wife and I don’t go out and “barhop” much anymore, so we were not expecting to even really let loose, just learn and have some small bites… but Rodney is a GREAT MC and knew how to steer the vibe Perfectly. Next thing I know, we are singing karaoke in the cleanest, little dive bar ive ever seen! This was the highlight of our trip, and made me feel at home and screwing off with friends almost immediately. Would recommend to anyone near Osaka. When we come back, I look forward to booking this AGAIN lol and I bet he would take us to completely different spots, he seems to know everyone. Thanks Rodney!!! -Drew/Kaelyn

Local, full of fun time, osaka culture, food and drinks! Kenpai - Rodney knowledge and local insight, made the tour one of the best part in my memory. Highly recommended, you won't regret anything, just good memories.

Amazing Tour - Great tour around Osaka. Our guide brought us to fantastic food and bar stops that we would never have thought to approach separately. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks. He also provided a lot of insights and history to the area.

Awesome tour, awesome guides! - Awesome experience! Our guides Rodney and Trey were so fun and knowledgeable about the area! Met some great people in our group and explored areas we never would have found on our own, (like Camille's bar with the giant hornet shots) highly recommend this tour for an amazing and unique experience of Osaka!

A Fantastic Local’s Tour - This tour was the most fun we had in Osaka. Rodney was an incredible tour guide—he took us to places we absolutely wouldn’t have been able to try (let alone find) without him. The food and drinks were all amazing and we ended the night with some fun karaoke. Definitely recommend for those looking to have a fun night out in Osaka.

Fantastic night out with unique bars/food - This tour was a highlight of our time in Osaka. We visited bars/izakayas that we never would have known existed if we were on our own. The food and drinks were both delicious and we got to try a variety of local items. Our guide, Kevin, was engaging, funny, friendly, and very knowledgable about the local scene. Definitely recommend this experience.

Must Do - This “tour” is a must do in Osaka. I put tour in quotes because you don’t feel like you’re on a tour. You feel like you’re going out for some amazing food and drink with a knowledgeable friend. Erik took excellent care of us and introduced us to food, drinks and places we never ever would have been able to find on our own. 10/10. 5 stars. Would recommend to anyone who likes food. So, everyone.

Great for solos, awesome food and drinks - Highlight of my visit to Osaka. We were a smallish group, and Rodeny did a great job of hosting and taking us around Osaka for great eats in some hidden jems, including an Izakaya, okonomiyaki restaurant and then several small bars. These bars were literally hidden in walls and small alley spaces, so they're super easy to miss. Rodney is highly knowledgeable about the area and personable. Ending the night at a karaoke bar was top tier. Highly recommend this tour, and it really should be the first your you take in Osaka.
