Highlights
  • 上本町グランディムビル - You will rent out the kitchen of the ramen shop I run and experience being a ramen chef. I will prepare the ramen soup. Because it takes several days to make ramen soup.I will prepare all the tools, so guests do not need to prepare anything. The process of the experience starts with an explanation of the ramen ingredients and utensils, and you will experience the actual boiling of the ramen, the preparation of the soup, the presentation, and the actual eating. Because it is a charter, you can experience it with confidence. Since a gas stove is used in the process of boiling the noodles, infants cannot participate. You can experience it from small children (about 7 years old). Up to 4 people can experience it at the same time. For ramen, you can choose one of the ramen you like from the following.

①Chicken white soup ramen
② Seafood chicken white soup ramen (clam broth)
③Chinese soba (soy sauce ramen)
④Sea bream dashi salt ramen

Please let me know if you will be late. If you can’t meet after 15 minutes from the reservation start time, it will be cancelled. Because it will affect the reservation schedule after that. note that.

I operate a ramen establishment in Osaka and offer the shop for rent to individuals after business hours for a hands-on ramen-making experience. To conclude the experience, you get to enjoy the ramen crafted by your own hands.

  • Not suitable for small children as it uses a gas stove

The best ramen ever - The owner and his son are both so cute and loving, they have great English. It’s more like putting together the ramen then making it from scratch but you learn a lot and it is so much fun and it tastes amazing I can’t recommend it enough

Osaka's best food experience - Fantastic experience that was our highlight to our travels in Japan. This truly is a hidden gym of Osaka. Our family of four booked the venture early in the morning. We picked a dinner time experience. We were immediately greeted by Shu and he went out of his way to make us comfortable. It was a 100 degrees day and without asking, he immediately brought cold water, refilled our water bottle and placed in the freezer, and was very friendly. Making the Ramen is quite fun. He teaches you about the different types, how different elements are made, and more. You will go behind the counter and actually put your meal together under the expert chefs care. Food is unbelievable. Everything is fresh and incredibly tasty. Ramen like you have never tried it. Do yourself a favor and do this experience. Great for families and Shu is fantastic with kids.

Osaka Ramen with Shu - Shu was a great host and teacher in explaining the various types ramen as well as the types of ramen he prepares. Who knew that preparing the base is like an 8-12 hour task?!?! At any rate, his guided practice and alternating system was ideal for making sure all guests were included.

Thumbs Up - Very unique, up-close and in person way to learn how to make ramen without looking like a tourist in Japan's food capital. You get to go behind the counter and torch the meat, cut the egg in half and shake the noodles. The ramen was delicious and it was fun to see the scattered dots on the map he has pinned up.
