Osaka - Really enjoyed Osaka, shrines and castle. Excellent restaurants and the street with all of the knife shops actually bought 2. Aquarium must see

Very entertaining and informative tour - This was the best tour iv been on in a long time. Andy knows so much about the history and culture of Japan and delivers it in a very entertaining way that will keep you engaged the entire time.

Top notch tour - From start to finish, this was a fantastic tour. Andy was proactive in making sure we arrived with no trouble, very accommodating throughout the tour, and knowledgeable in the extreme, both on the history and the grittier details of Osaka. There were beautiful sights, fantastic street food, and several very fun and surprising details, like curious holes in fences and very unusual bar ornaments.
Andy’s commentary covered the history in reasonable depth, but he also made it so fun to listen to that I may even retain some of it. Andy is clearly passionate about Osaka and its history, and is not afraid to tell you so!
Ultimately I cannot more strongly recommend a tour, and would love to try another one next time I’m in Osaka.

The chillest and most fun tour I’ve ever been on. - Amazing tour! It didn’t feel like a typical tour; it felt like hanging out with a local friend who wanted to show us all the coolest spots and tell us about his town. I wish all tours were like this.

Highly recommend - The tour was amazing and Andy was such a great guide. He was very knowledgeable both about Japanese history and culture. We took several tour buses prior to this tour and they shared almost no info.

Best tour to widen your weltanschaung about Osaka - Our guide/ bon vivant Andy took us for a whole day tour of Osaka, in the process gave interesting “Game of Thrones”-like history lessons about Osaka and the way of the samurai. He regaled us with the down and dirty stories of a seamier side of Osaka ( the samurai and his boyfriend) and then fed us takoyaki at the piazza of Amerikamura. I also learned about pachinko and red teddy bears. Of course, you would have to ask him about that yourself if ever you decide to get this tour. If you want to know a little more about Osaka than the glossies, this tour is for you. Recommend it 100%.

Amazing city, fantastic company with Andy - Andy’s tour made our holiday - his knowledge of the city, and his friendly and (very) open delivery made this tour so very high value for money. We were given ample time and opportunity for rest, refreshments and even a spot of shopping while still packing in a huge amount of local knowledge, cultural and historical education and very fun banter!
Andy will tailor the tour to be perfect for your group, and this left us feeling it was quite bespoke and personalised. I honestly couldn’t recommend him more and wish we’d had more time to tap further into his knowledge with another tour (or even just a bite to eat and a beer - he is also just great company!!)
Dont hesitate- you will love this tour.

Great walking tour by an engaging and funny guide - Excellent walking tour with a great guide. Andy was thorough and knowledgeable. As a British expat resident in Osaka he gave a unique view of the city. We hit many famous spots in Osaka and got a feel for how Osakans live their daily life. It was a lot of walking so wear good shoes, but the pace was great and Andy checked in often to make sure everyone was doing well. Highly recommended and good value for money.

Andy’s amazing Osaka tour - Andy was our tour guide and he took us around the wonderful city of Osaka with great local knowledge and a charming sense of humour. No stone left unturned, we came away knowing lots about the city and its suburbs and exciting subcultures.
