- Taito Station Namba - Start your adventure from Osaka, leaving the city behind as you journey towards Nara. Relax and enjoy the scenic drive through the Kansai region, setting the stage for a day filled with cultural exploration and natural beauty.
- Nara Park - Our first destination is Nara Park, a sprawling green area where hundreds of sacred deer roam freely. These deer are considered divine messengers in Shinto tradition. You can interact with them and appreciate the park’s scenery, which includes majestic trees and tranquil ponds.
- Kiyomizu-dera Temple - Constructed without a single nail, this temple is perched on a hillside and offers stunning panoramic views of Kyoto city and the surrounding forests. The temple is renowned for its large wooden platform that extends over a steep cliff, providing a spectacular view during the cherry blossom season or autumn when the leaves change color. You will have one hour here and free time for lunch.
- Sanneizaka - After departing Kiyomizu-dera, enjoy a leisurely walk through Sanneizaka and Ninenzaka, two historic streets lined with traditional wooden shops, teahouses, and souvenir stores. These charming lanes offer a glimpse into Kyoto’s past and are perfect for shopping or enjoying local treats like matcha ice cream. Your walk concludes at Yasaka Shrine, a vibrant Shinto shrine in the heart of Kyoto’s Gion district.
- Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine - This shrine is globally renowned for its thousands of bright red torii gates that form enchanting tunnels along the paths leading to the sacred Mount Inari. Walking through these tunnels is a profoundly spiritual experience. You will have 2 hours of free time at Fushimi Inari.
- Taito Station Namba - After a rewarding visit, board the bus for the return trip to Osaka. Relax as you reflect on the day’s experiences and watch the Kansai landscape transition from evening into night. Arrive back in Osaka, where your tour concludes. You can continue exploring the city on your own or return to your accommodations, enriched by the day’s cultural and natural wonders.
