Nothing but WOW! - This performance absolutely blew us away. There was so much to enjoy on so many levels. The musical skills of all the performers were utterly outstanding and the way they used traditional instruments to create a very modern and unique sound was awesome. The way they wove each of their parts together to create a vibrant, complex and enthralling sound was awe-inspiring. We have been to other 'for tourist' shows where the audience connection seems rehearsed or rote-learned, but here there was a genuine connection where the performers were constantly engaging with the audience in a fun and welcoming manner. They were clearly having so much fun themselves and responding to the reaction of the crowd who were delighting in their performance. This created a sense of warmth and fun which made the audience feel that they were not watching a show, but were immersed in a fantastical musical journey. The energy of the performers was next-level despite the small crowd. It felt as if they were performing in a stadium full of thousands of people. (And they should be - they are that good.) The performers started with such energy and enthusiasm we thought there was no way it could be sustained, but in fact, they built upon that and it grew as the show progressed. The performance was so much fun that we were grinning from ear to ear the whole time. By the end the audience were on their feet. If you are visiting Osaka - go see this show. If you live in Osaka - go see this show. If you live elsewhere in Japan - come to Osaka and see this show. If you are planning a trip to Japan - book this show and plan the rest of your visit around it. If you want to see something fresh and fun, that will entertain you, impress you, engage you and have you leaving the theatre feeling full of 'wow' then truly - you want to see this show. Amazing! - The most underrated show in Osaka for sure!! Honestly some of the most talented musicians I've seen in a long time. The kind of high-energy traditional drum show that Japan is famous for 🤩 they're so cool lol Definitely suitable for all ages

Really spectacular musical show - This show is really amazing, the musicians gave it all on the stage. The music is really good and they made a great performance. You will love it, even if you are not a hardcore Japanese music fan. Kids will also enjoy it, because is very interactive. You will feel totally energised after the concert. The time flew really fast, because we were having so much fun. I truly and sincerely recommend this show.

Highly Recommended! - I enjoyed the show! The performers were energetic and intense. They invited the audience to join in chanting and clapping so we could really feel the music. I even got to go onstage and try taiko too! They're so generous to let us jam with them.

If you're in Osaka, you have to watch this! - Wow! I'm a musician with 20+ years of stage experience and I can confidently say this is a masterclass on how to put on a show. It's a very entertaining experience that I recommend to everyone. The band's energy is amazing and the music + choreography will keep you smiling and dancing the whole time. Also, they have very good connection with the audience, interacting a lot and even inviting some to the stage (!). If you love japanese instruments this is your show. If you don't, this is your show too, you will enjoy it anyways!

It’s an immersive journey through sound and culture that you won’t want to miss! - I just got back from the show and it was amazing! Every moment was so immersive and fun. I loved getting to join in and play the big Japanese drums—it was such a thrill! The energy from the performers was infectious, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Fun and impressive Japanese band show - This is not the first drum show l watched, but certainly the most unforgettable. These Japanese young men played fusion music energetically and skilfully, using various Japanese drums, two type of flutes, Japanese guitar and even a violin! They interacted a lot with the audience, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, especially the children. I had a wonderful evening and would like to recommend it to you. The theatre is nearby Osaka Aquarium and flyer, a bit distance from USJ.
