- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a popular tourist destination featuring eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region. It is situated between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried up several hundred years ago. The ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, which filters through porous lava layers for over 80 years, resulting in exceptionally clear spring water that is highly valued by locals.
- Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine - Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, also known as Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō), is a five-story pagoda located on a mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City with Mount Fuji in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built in 1963 as a peace memorial, accessible by nearly 400 steps from the shrine’s main buildings. The location offers stunning views of Mount Fuji alongside the pagoda and is particularly popular among photographers for capturing iconic images of Japan.

It is the second largest in surface area and the second shallowest, with a depth of only 14.6 meters. Its surface elevation of approximately 830 meters results in cool summers and icy winters. The lake attracts many visitors, especially during the cherry blossom season in spring and the vibrant fall foliage in autumn.

From the deck, which is over 1000 meters above sea level, you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake and Mount Fuji.
- Oishi Park - Located on the north shore of Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park offers a superb view of both the lake and Mount Fuji. Various flowers bloom along the lakeside promenade according to the season. On sunny days, many photographers come early in the morning to capture images of Mount Fuji, the lake, and the flowers. On the west side of Oishi Park, the “Flowers Road” features colorful blooms throughout the season. At the end of the Flowers Road, Kochia (summer cypress) covers the area from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot.
