Highlights
  • Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a popular tourist destination featuring eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region. It is situated between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried up several hundred years ago. The ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, which filters through porous lava layers for over 80 years, resulting in exceptionally clear spring water that is highly valued by the locals.
  • Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine - Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, also known as Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō), is a five-story pagoda located on a mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City with Mount Fuji in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built in 1963 as a peace memorial, nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings. The location offers stunning views of Mount Fuji alongside the pagoda and is particularly popular among photographers for capturing iconic images of Japan.
  • Gotemba Premium Outlets - This destination is an option if you wish to shop and can skip a few other places. This outdoor shopping center offers views of Mount Fuji while you explore over 200 shops. In addition to shopping, there are numerous restaurants and food stores where you can enjoy a meal between shopping or after a long day. Gotemba Premium Outlets is an ideal spot for those looking to combine shopping with dining.
  • Lake Kawaguchiko - The most visited of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko is the main entry point to this renowned lake region. It is the second largest in surface area and the second most shallow, with a depth of only 14.6 meters. Its surface elevation of approximately 830 meters results in cool summers and icy winters. The lake attracts many visitors, especially during the cherry blossom season in spring and the vibrant fall foliage in autumn.
  • Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway - Ropeway charges are not included in the package. This cable car takes you up 220 meters to an observation point, offering fantastic views of the lake as you ascend. The Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway climbs 400 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko to an observation deck near the peak of Mount Tenjo. From the deck, which is over 1000 meters above sea level, you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake below and Mount Fuji.
  • Kawaguchiko Station Bldg. - Known as the prettiest Lawson Store in the world, it offers an astonishing view of Mount Fuji in the background and Kawaguchiko Station.
  • Yamanakako Lake Side Bowl - Lake Yamanakako is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and has the third-highest elevation of any lake in Japan. It is the closest of the five to Mount Fuji and provides spectacular views of the iconic peak.
  • Mt.Fuji 5th station - ONLY if requested. Admission fee is NOT included.

Best Tokyo to Mt. Fuji Private Tour - This private tour was one of the best ones that we have been on. We had Uta as our driver/guide and he was great and attentive. We had great conversations during our drive and Uta taught us a lot about Japan and the traditions. He showed us things along the way that we had no idea about and also guided us to a delicious lunch spot that served hoto noodle and was well known in the Mt. Fuji area. We could not have asked for a better experience and driver. We also requested for a drop off in Mt. Fuji from Tokyo since we decided to stay at a Ryokan. Uta and the company were able to accommodate us with a pick up at our Tokyo hotel and luggage space, as well as drop off at our Ryokan at the end of the tour. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a seamless trip from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji for the day. We will definitely do this again on our next trip and request for Uta!

Trip to Mt. Fujii - We enjoyed viewing Fuji-San from various locations, even from the van as we were enroute to those awesome locations. The last stop at Kitaguchi Shrine was so calming and a spiritual experience to express our gratitude for a wonderful day full of memorable experiences!!!!

10/10 Highly Recommend!!! - Thank you Uta! I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day exploring the wonders around Mt. Fuji. This tour was a captivating blend of cultural exploration, modern indulgence, and breathtaking views. If you’re looking for a memorable experience that offers both serenity and excitement, this is it! The tour began at the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, home to the iconic Chureito Pagoda, and it was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The tranquil path through the shrine, lined with cherry blossoms, leads to the stunning view of the pagoda with Mt. Fuji rising majestically in the background. It felt like stepping into a dream—a perfect spot for capturing those once-in-a-lifetime photos. The calm, spiritual atmosphere of the shrine was the perfect way to begin the day, and I felt deeply connected to Japan’s heritage. After taking in the beautiful sights, we made our way to Funari (a restaurant recommended by Uta), a charming local restaurant for lunch. Specializing in traditional Japanese cuisine, the meal was an absolute delight. The fresh and authentic flavors, particularly the udon noodles and croquettes were unforgettable! The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made it the ideal place to relax and recharge before continuing our adventure. Our next stop was the Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja, one of the most important shrines in the Mt. Fuji area. Surrounded by towering ancient trees, this sacred shrine offered a serene and spiritual experience. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the shrine’s history and its role as the traditional starting point for pilgrims climbing Mt. Fuji. Walking through the grand torii gates and taking in the mystical energy of the shrine felt like a journey into the past. The tour ended on an exciting note with a visit to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, a shopper’s paradise nestled in the shadow of Mt. Fuji. With a huge selection of international and Japanese brands, it was a fantastic spot to pick up some luxury items at great prices. The backdrop of Mt. Fuji made shopping here feel like something truly special—where else can you shop with such a majestic view in the background? Overall, this tour exceeded all my expectations. From the serenity of the shrines to the indulgence of shopping, every moment was thoughtfully planned and perfectly balanced. Whether you’re a lover of culture, a foodie, or a shopaholic, this tour offers something for everyone. Don’t hesitate—book this unforgettable experience and see Mt. Fuji from all its beautiful angles! Uta is also more than willing to work with you to modify the tour if there are certain things that you want to do or don’t want to do.

Unforgettable trip to Mt Fuji - Absolutely awesome tour!! Kibo was our driver and he made our experience amazing! It was a very cloudy day, so we were not able to see views of Mt Fuji the whole day. Kibo was super flexible and suggested different spots and sights that we could go see. He even brought us to a place during a specific time when the weather cleared that would guarantee us to see Mt Fuji and get our picture. We are so happy with our experience and really appreciate his hard work to make our trip memorable. We also had great conversation in the car that made the ride so enjoyable and quick. I would definitely do this tour again! It was so relaxed and we enjoyed all of the sights we saw. Thank you so much Kibo!

A great experience with an honorable guide - Kibo worked very hard to find us a good view of mount fuji. The volcano was shrouded in clouds so there were no good views but he found us a great view. He also was very helpful. We left a valuable item in his vehicle and he took time to return the item to us even though it was very late.

Amazing views - The views were amazing. Our family had lots of fun and took lots of photos. Although light rain was forecasted, the weather was surprisingly nice for most part of our trip and we had very clear views of Mount Fuji. Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and observation deck at Lake Kawaguchi ropeway are the highlights of our trip with gorgeous views. Mike, our driver, was on time and worked patiently with us to adjust the activities to our interests. He was very pleasant to chat with. Thank you Mike!

Shame about the weather all was perfect! - Due to the weather advisory we were going to cancel this trip as we knew we wouldn’t be able to see Mount Fuji! However spoke to the tour operator and they assured us that it was a safe route and the itinerary can be customised as per our choice. The drive took us to the shiraito water Falls which was not part of the itinerary and the views were just amazing! The sun just came out for a bit and the rain stopped!!! Was on of the best part of the unplanned tour! I would definitely do this tour again next time with better weather to see Mount Fuji!
