Excellent private tour guide - Ishii was excellent driver despite the rain on our way back and the tortuous road conditions. Excellent knowledge of shrines and good lunch recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The best for Mt. Fuji - Mozi, our guide to Mt Fuji, was THE best guide we’ve ever had and we travel a lot! Very proficient in English, well educated in Japanese history, and he knows the shortcuts to the best views of Fuji. We really appreciated the private tour as opposed to being in a bus loaded with tourists. We would recommend Mozi and his tour company to all of you looking for a fun, interesting, safe journey while in Yokohama and/or Tokyo.

Great first day - Our trip was great! Our driver worked with us to get picked up as our cruise ship came into a weird port. And took us to our hotel after our adventure. He was very knowledgeable answering all of our questions about our stops as well as about Japanese culture. He even helped us find a place for lunch that was English friendly. The van was spacious. We had our luggage with us but if we didn’t there was a third row if you wanted to bring more people. All in all this was a great experience and I would recommend the service to anyone.

As expected - We booked this tour based upon trip advisor reviews and were aware of what to expect. I booked the pick up time for 7am and was glad we did as it takes about 2 hours minimum to get to the Mount Fuji area. Our guide was Ishii and he spoke good English. He asked us where we wanted to go upon pick up but as we didn’t have anything specific in mind we were happy to go with his suggestions. He took us to five separate places around the area including Lake Kawaguichi, the beautiful temple at Fujiyoshida and a bonus (as we had spare time) the Ice Cave at Narusawa. Ishii would give us some information on the place we were at and would then leave us to explore on our own, which is exactly how we would have liked it. Ishii contacted us the day before by WhatsApp to confirm the time and messaged again when he was outside the hotel. Definitely worth the £399 we paid for four of us.

The amazing Ishi! - We had the pleasure of having Ishi as our driver for our trip to Mt. Fuji, and he truly exceeded our expectations. He arrived promptly at our hotel, and even gave us time to grab a coffee before we set off. His vehicle was spotless, and he provided insightful historical context for each location we visited at Mt. Fuji. Ishi was incredibly helpful with our questions as we were new to the country, and his driving was both safe and courteous. We highly recommend Ishi and will definitely book him again for our next trip to Japan.
