Not really much to see at Eagles Nest. Driver was great. - Our driver Michael was excellent. He knew where we were going and was easy to arrange various drop off and pickup locations. This is just a driver, not a guided tour. The Eagles Nest is really not much to see in terms of history. There is a small room that discusses some of what went on and the construction of the road there. It is mostly just a few empty rooms. There is a nice restaurant and if you like to climb along the rocks to see the 360 degree view it is nice. But it takes a lot of time to get to the base, take the bus, then walk the tunnel and take the elevator to the top. Perhaps better for hikers than regular tourists. Salzburg was very pretty and I think you’d be better off simply spending the day in Salzburg and skip the Eagles Nest.
