Entertaining tour. - Daniel has a good sense of humor which made the tour entertaining. Informative and we saw a lot of things we would not have seen without the tour guide. Easy to hear as Daniel uses a good microphone and audio set. We enjoyed the tour

Unexpected information - City Hall was especially cool. It also was interesting to hear about how Norwegian culture and values were reflected in architecture. Some fascinating history, too, along with a good orientation as to which sites to visit. The guide was very open to questions and knew a lot.

Michelle was an awesome guide! - Michelle was an excellent tour guide. She described everything really clearly and added some personal experiences to make the information even more interesting. We felt like we learned something new even though it was our 3rd day in the city.

Recommendable! - Our guide Hanna led us through Oslo for about 90 minutes. She was always sufficiently loud and easy to understand and had some interesting places and facts to offer. Of course, a city like Oslo is too big to be fully explored on foot in 90 minutes, but we were given tips for further excursions as well as recommendations for typical local cuisine and restaurants. As always with these free tours, the guides live off tips, and the tour with Hanna was definitely worth the tip. Really recommendable.

Viator charges for "free walk tours" - The tour guide was great, but I don't understand why I was charged $ by Viator to register for this walking tour when the guide was holding a sign that clearly said "Free walking tour ". If the money went to the guide that would be fine, but I doubt it did. Just should have shown up for the "free walking tour" and tipped accordingly.

Good Effort, No Cigar - Our guide (5 pm, 8/16/24) was nice, but he spoke in boring monotone. There was not much, if any, humor. He tried, but he did not know how to connect with us, his audience. He knows his "script", but he could not answer many general questions that we presented. At the conclusion, it was a toss up between a waste of time versus somewhat meaningful.

Crowded tour - Tour was very crowded with 30 people to stay together. The tour guide was not a native and only in Oslo 1 year. She did not know the answer to our first question about the fountain/statue near the meeting spot ( lion statue). At the end of the tour she said she was a volunteer and depended on tips. Shame on viator to not pay their guides!
