The essentials of Oslo - We met Marcela in the morning at our hotel. After a quick briefing, we left and walked the city. Pass the palace to city hall, onto parliament, shopping district, cathedral and then pass the rail station and onto to modern part of the city. Marcela was also most helpful sitting with us after and giving us pointers and tips about the rest of our trip through Norway. Had great morning with lots of laughs.

Beautiful building, but unfortunately little or no Norwegian building materials were used. - The Oslo Opera House is located on the sea and consists of white marble (from Italy). It is very nice that you can walk on the roof and enjoy the view of the city and the sea from various platforms. A lot of wood has been used inside, but strangely, that wood does not come from the Norwegian forests as you would expect, but from Germany and Eastern Europe.

Perfect tour guide - Marcela Orsini took my wife and I on a wonderful tour of the key cultural spots in Oslo that are must see and do while visiting. She was educated on all the history and fun cultural things to do and communicated in a way that was interesting. Marcela also had great patience to answer all of our questions with a smile. I highly recommend her for all future tours

Fantastic combination: Oslo and Marcela - Fantastic way to be introduced to Oslo and a fantastic guide. Marcela , who couldn't have been better! She shared her insider knowledge of Oslo that most tourists never experience. Marcela was flexible and personable, with such a comfortable manner that she's a role model for what guides should be but are so rarely.
