Oslo, Fram museum - The museum tells the story of the Fram who participated in the Arctic expeditions. The entire ship can be admired with clear explanations in the many photos and objects on display.

Great museum in a lovely location - We took the bus trip to this part of Oslo which was in itself a fun journey. The museum is out on a peninsular and is one of three at the site. It is a well laid out, interesting museum with lots of information and multimedia displays. The ship itself is fascinating and being able to go in it and explore really does make it all come alive. On the outside, the grounds are lovely with views out into the bay, we were there whilst it was icy and snowing which made it especially lovely.

A dream experience for everyone interested in Nordic maritime history! - A remarkably well set up museum, with so much information for all the events that took place around this ship and others in the same time. Mixed in with a great playground-type environment for children to look around, interact with and so on. Great effects and lighting. Definitely worth a visit! Especially with the whole ship being in there parked AND you can walk in and around it!

An educational visit! - We learnt more about the Fram expedition and read in awe of the resilience of the crew. The visit on the ship makes the whole experience much more interesting and provides insights to their living conditions. We love the exhibits and spent about 2 hours here. There are toilet, lift, locker (required coins), food and souvenir shop in the museum.

Very interesting museum - Visited the museum as we were on the hop on hop off bus tour and decided to pay the Fram Museum a visit as we stopped in the vicinity and were so glad we did. The museum gives details of polar expeditions to both the North and South Poles and is very interesting. Make sure you visit the cinema first as it explains the expeditions briefly but covers all the points needed. You are able to board both vessels, the Gjoa and the Fram, and it is amazing to see how the explorers lived in very confined spaces. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Very good museum to do - An interesting museum with a lot of explanation about polar expeditions. The tablets are in several languages and also in French which is really good. The tour is all the more interesting because you can get on the two boats exposed and visit part of the interior. What to do if you are on Oslo.

Polar what? - Supposed to be 360 video did not see it. Expected more interaction but just underwhelmed. So would not recommend going head to the vigeland instead while there is day light
