Time well spent - Very nice exhibit and very informative displays throughout. I spent about 2 hours just reading and going through the museum’s displays and going aboard the ship itself. Very well laid out. I arrived just as the museum opened which is nice to get through the exhibits and get photos which I prefer. Time well spent if ever in Oslo.

Excellent Visit - Wow! This museum is impressive. Not only do they have a massive ship inside of the building, but there are so many other historical facts linked to the ship that you could spend the whole day reading about everything. The interactivity of the exhibits were really fun, including an arctic simulation area, where you can certainly cool down if it's a warm day. I highly recommend visiting this museum.

Highly recommend. - Really interesting. We learned a lot. Such a great perk that the original boat is set inside the museum and that we are able to visit. The gift shop had also a selection of great reading material to purchase.

A captivating and rewarding visit - The Fram Museum is a real nugget for history, adventure and discovery lovers. I spent several hours there and was not bored for a second. The exhibitions are both interesting and very well designed, mixing historical information, authentic objects and interactive presentations. One can even board the famous Fram ship, which is a unique and immersive experience. The details of the polar expeditions are captivating and provide a better understanding of the incredible challenges faced by explorers. I went out with stars full of eyes!

Oslo, Fram museum - The museum tells the story of the Fram who participated in the Arctic expeditions. The entire ship can be admired with clear explanations in the many photos and objects on display.

Great museum in a lovely location - We took the bus trip to this part of Oslo which was in itself a fun journey. The museum is out on a peninsular and is one of three at the site. It is a well laid out, interesting museum with lots of information and multimedia displays. The ship itself is fascinating and being able to go in it and explore really does make it all come alive. On the outside, the grounds are lovely with views out into the bay, we were there whilst it was icy and snowing which made it especially lovely.
