• Frognerseteren - The tour will take place in Oslomarka, the forest situated high above Oslo city. The walk begins at Frognerseteren and meanders through the snow-covered forest, eventually leading to a cozy campfire. Around the fire, participants will enjoy hot chocolate or tea and roast marshmallows. Tour duration includes time spent on public transportation.

Please note that on our tours, the safety of our guests is our top priority. During this tour, we navigate the forest with live fire. If the guide determines that the conditions or weather pose a risk to guests’ safety, torches will not be used. However, we will still explore the forest and conclude with a campfire.
After March 1, 2025, torches will no longer be used due to the return of daylight.

Take a ride on the metro and journey through charming neighborhoods to Frognerseteren Station, located approximately 500 meters above the fjord. After taking a moment to enjoy the views, it’s time to embark on our adventure! We will take a brief walk to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where you can enjoy a cozy campfire, Norwegian style. Experience “hygge” with hot drinks, engaging conversation, and roasted marshmallows.
Here, each guest will receive a flame torch. Following a safety briefing, we will venture into the winter wilderness. The walk will last about 45 minutes and will conclude at the metro, which will return us to civilization.

• On our tours, guests’ safety always comes first. On this tour we move through the forest with live fire. If the guide assesses the situation or the weather in such a way that it challenges the guests’ safety, we will not use torches. We still wander through the forest, and end up lighting a campfire. After 1 March 2025 we will not use torches because of the daylight.
