Embark on a journey of adventure and bask in the unique splendor of a Norwegian forest on a trek to Skjennungstoppen.
This expedition comprises roughly 6 h, inclusive of the subway ride (5 h of trekking, 1 h on the metro). The total trekking distance amounts to 12 km.
This trek is strenuous, therefore previous hiking experience is necessary. Appropriate trekking footwear or equivalent is mandatory.

- Hiking experience is required.
- Hiking shoes or similar and comfortable clothes (layers) are recommended.

Amazing insight! - I just wanteds to say very belatedly how amazing I felt this tour was! Einar was the guide and his knowledge on the walk, area and Oslo gave me such a better insight into the country in my brief stay. The hike/walk was so varied and loved going off-piste assured that he knew the forest like the back of his hand. Would highly recommend and wish could do more. Perfect combination of personal challenge in the most picturesque scenery. Thank you:)

Memorable Oslo hike with Lynn! - We had this beautiful hiking experience with Lynn and it was a great day!! Not only did we get to learn about the fauna and see the flora of the place, there were multiple picturesque spots!! Our son Ethan loved having Lynn and enjoyed her great company. She has become part of our family and we recommend this hike for everyone with Lynn! The hike spot was amazing too. We were blessed to have a non-rainy day!

Beautiful hike - I had a great time . Nice group. We hiked up around the lake Oslo s water comes from. Beautiful scenery. Miles was great guide. Miles told to try the snack smash. I ate the whole bag lol. Great experience good exercise great people

Best part of our holiday - This was an amazing tour and was definitely the best part of our holiday. The scenery is stunningly beautiful, and it is well worth the money as it meant there was no risk of getting lost etc. The hike was the perfect length and difficulty, and our guide was amazing too. I'd definitely recommend this hike.

Amazing hiking tour - An extremely brain recovering tour, beautiful forest, fresh and cool air, various mushrooms. The berries are tasty. The guide Tom is very friendly and professional. If I visit Oslo again, I will try the one day hiking 😁

Incredible! - It was an amazing tour! I traveled solo to Oslo and this was the first hiking tour I did in my trip. The guide was Einar, and experienced and very kind travel guide and the path we took had some breathtaking views, with a couple of stops on the way in some pretty cottages, with beverages and snacks to eat. I definitely recommend Oslo Hiking - they have several options of hiking tours!
