Recommended - Nice, nice night. Crossing the fjord is beautiful and doing it with the setting sun even more. The evening was not very hot, but warm blankets were available on the benches. The super abundant shrimp buffet. Crew and commander very nice and kind.

The Best Experience this trip!! - We had the best time on the boat with everyone! The crew sets the atmosphere and it’s up to the guest to carry on a great time! Be sure to bring layers. I had a tee, a Patagonia vest, & a rain jacket and did pretty good. A hoodie would have been good with a raincoat too. If you sit on the sides the water can splash up on your way out. The middle tables seemed shielded from everything, but their views were obstructed by the side tables, so choose what’s best for you. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong. We had wine & then they served shrimp, bread, butter, lemon, mayonnaise, lettuce, & dill. As we ate and they turned up the music our group started singing. It was wonderful, the whole boat was joining in as we headed back to shore. We grabbed some hot chocolate for the return ride. What away to be greeted by Oslo! Do not hesitate to book this tour! (And the work you do by peeling shrimp is satisfying as soon as you pop them in your mouth!)

An Experience to Remember - 3 hour evening boat tour with unlimited shrimp was an easy sell when I came across this tour option. Service was very attentive to everyone and I enjoyed the humorous banter between a rival evening ship tour, Oslo during sunset / evening is stunning. After sunset, it did cool down quite a bit so be sure to dress appropriately, blankets are available, however if still wear a jacket/ hoodie. Be prepared to clean your shrimp 😄

Boat adventure :) - The trip was excellent, and the team on the boat was as well. The shrimp buffet was fresh and tasty, and the wine choice was good. Only one challenge. The first passengers occupy the tables. So if you have a family or large group of people who want to share the table, come a minimum of 30 minutes beforehand. I highly recommend spending the evening in the summertime.

Norwegian Shrimp Sandwich Cruise - An interesting experience for Americans unfamiliar with the rite of Norwegian shrimp sandwich making. The cruise was pretty standard. In late August, it ended in darkness and seeing the city lights from the fjord was fun. But the best part of the cruise was watching the meticulous way Norwegians peel and stack small shrimp on a mayonnaise coated slice of white bread, top it with dill, mustard, lettuce, and lemon, and then consume it with knife and fork as an open sandwich, or add another slice of bread and eat a sandwich.

Good, but not excellent. - This was a very enjoyable cruise and, for us, a nice introduction to Oslo Fjord. I would have given it 5 stars if the boat wasn't so crowded and there had been some commentary. I know it's not a guided tour but I wouldn't hurt for them to mention the name of a few highlights on the route.

Fun to see more than just the city - A nice and pleasant way to get out of the city and see part of the fjord, the surrounding settlements and nature. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It would have been very welcome if the staff through the public address system had been able to tell us a little about that ship passing, at least while the food was not being served. Even if you go alone, it is not difficult to find company well on board. Do not miss the view from the foredeck when not eating. Great value!

Nice cruise but the xtra for the shrimp wasn’t worth it - The crew was wonderful and the other people on the cruise were friendly. The sites were terrific and the boat was fun. But the shrimp were a disappointment. I love shrimp and don’t mind peeling them. But, these were very messy and had lots of roe (shrimp eggs). Very messy and the shrimp were not that large. Bread and butter and a few leafs of lettuce didn’t help the quality of the experience. I was looking forward to the shrimp but it wasn’t worth the extra price.
