- Frognerseteren - The journey begins at the Oslo Visitor Centre, situated in the lively Jernbanetorget. From there, the group will take the Frognerseteren metro line, experiencing a picturesque ride through the beautiful winter scenery, with expansive views emerging as the city fades into the distance.
Upon arrival at the Frognerseteren station, the first breathtaking view of the city and fjord will greet the group. If this view impresses, just wait until reaching the destination - the peak of Vettakollen mountain, where a stunning vista of Oslo and the expansive Oslofjord awaits, sure to leave everyone in awe.
- Fuglemyra - The hike will meander through the tranquil winter forest and past small frozen ponds, home to the mythical creature known as Huldra. The first stop is a delightful small Norwegian cabin called Fuglemyrhytta - an ideal place to pause, unwind, and enjoy the scenery. Here, the guide will explain the significance of these cabins in Norwegian culture.
- Vettakollen Viewpoint - The adventure continues through the snow-covered forest to the most magnificent point of the journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Oslofjord. Breathe in the fresh winter air and be sure to capture the moment with a photo to cherish this unique experience.
Here, a break will be taken to learn about the beautiful area below. This embodies the essence of Norwegian life: a moment of “hygge,” shared with good company amidst nature.
After savoring the view, the group will descend to the metro station and conclude the trip at Jernbanetorget.
