Great bus ride - Well worth the bus trip. We took the 48 hour option which was very handy. Great to get in early as Oslo comes awake after lunch.

Barely passable. - One bus was OLD. Rusted and the floor near the stairs felt like it was going to fall through! Plus commentary needs updating. Who cares which designer labels are in a certain store. We’re not hear for that. Say it with me CITY HISTORY

Not the best hop on hop off experience I had - The original bus we got on had a faulty voice recording so we got no information on the sights. Then we waited for the bus about 40 minutes although it’s advertised as coming every 30 minutes . I wish there was some rough schedule people could follow so you don’t have to wait out in the rain without knowing how long you have to wait

don't know. - We were only able to use the bus once. We paid for a two day ticket but had a medical emergency which prevented us from using it both days. So I can't really say how good the service is.

Unimpressed with an overpriced “cab” ride - Frankly I was unimpressed, it was overprice for what I thought it was, or should have been. Driver seemed to be in a hurry, but It served a purpose, got to Fram museum and back to the ship and saw a bit of the city. Would not do it again!

Better to walk. - The service operates only from 10-4 and covers pretty much everything that you can see on foot anyway. I used it in September and the sun sets only around 7PM. If only they could help by maximizing that time. The frequency isn't very high so you end up wasting a lot of time just waiting and then they anyway shut. I'd recommend you rather walk around or book through the other provider who atleast has 2 routes.

Summary: This is an ABSOLUTE RIPOFF - The worst most overpriced Hop on bus trip ever. Saw nothing, buses were packed and very very late. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, you have been warned!!

Waste of money - The bus travels to the cruise terminal, opera, Akershus Fortress and the city center. A little outside is the Bygdoy peninsula with several museums and the Vigeland sculpture park on the program. We wasted a lot of time sitting on the bus at the stop because the driver took a break, tried to understand the disabled ramp system for over 20 minutes, or just walked away for 10 minutes without comment. The terminal, fortress, city centre and opera are close together and are ideal for a walk. Kontiki and Frammuseum can be reached easily and quickly than by hop-on bus with the museum ferry. In front of the Kontiki Museum, bus line 30 goes back to the opera. The rest of the peninsula's museums are located along the route. The sculpture park can also be easily reached by bus or tram from the city centre. Public transport in Oslo is more convenient, faster and significantly cheaper than the overpriced hop-on bus.
