Highlights
  • Lille Stranden 9 - Sauna and ice bathing is very popular in Oslo. You will have between 1 - 2 hours (depending on the time and day you book), to relax in the sauna and swim in the fjord. Make sure to bring lots of drinking water, and two towels - one to sit on and one to dry yourself. There is no shower or running water in the winter (November - May) but the water in Tjuvholmen is the cleanest in Oslo, making it a great shower substitute. There is also a supermarket (Joker Tjuvholmen) only 50m away if you need more water or snacks. Please remember to not put salt water on the sauna oven, be kind and considerate to other sauna users, be safe, and do not drink more than 3 standard drinks during you visit. Enjoy sauna life on Oslo fjord!
What's Included

What's Not Included
  • No shower from November to Mid-April as pipes freeze (the Oslofjord is clean so jump in!)

So much fun! - This was an amazing way to start our day in Oslo. A 10 minute drive and a 20 minute walk from the cruise terminal. The water and facilities were clean, there were drinks available for purchase and the staff was amazing. It is a natural Fjord so it’s not a pool- it’s a natural land mark however it was cleaner than any pier I’ve swam in from Alaska to New Jersey beaches. You do need to be a stronger swimmer to jump in- it’s very deep so don’t be scared!

Must do in Oslo - So fun! We're addicted. Booking to do again today. While the cruising boat looks fun it's 4x more expensive.

Koselig - A very pleasant and cosy experience with a nice family. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood sauna in between many hops in the fjord.

Perfect sauna and great views. - First rate! The two brothers running it were very nice. Shower on the outside to rinse off ocean water after plunges. The sauna was 176F. The ocean in June was about 60F. Wood fired sauna with plenty of wood. Clean and fun.

Iconic Norwegian experience - We had a great experience in the floating sauna. We alternated between the hot, wood-fired sauna and the chilly water in the harbor. We’re from south Florida USA so it was a brisk change for us. Very easy and refreshing experience - we highly recommend!

Unique, fun and a little bit different! - What a lovely idea this is… easy to use and good fun. And a lovely dip in the Oslo Fjord after heating up in the sauna first - as well as drying off in the sauna again after the dip. My son and I had a great time

Worth it! - Was a nice experience. Water in the Fjord was not too cold. The Oven was not burning when we arrived 15 minutes before starting time. Fired it on ourselves and was hot after 30 minutes. Despite this it was Great.

Infested with dead rats!!! - Oh my god! This place is not fit for humans! Do not swim in that water! After soaking up the sun for a bit and watching my daughter I decided to go for a swim myself. And then I noticed a seagul pecking at something floating on top of the water. I thought it was a dead fish! Turns out it was a dead RAT!!! My daughter went to tell the attendant and was telling him and pointing to the RAT. As she was telling him another dead RAT floated by!! My daughter had been swimming in that water!!! We were so grossed out!! We left immediately and while leaving we saw another rat floating on the surface!!! I am still sick to my stomach! When I wrote the owner he told me my comments were”inappropriate!!” And “they can’t be expected to be responsible for the whole fjord”. No not the whole fjord but your area should have someone monitoring the conditions. Nice response buddy!
