From this point, the group will board the Frognerseteren metro line for a scenic journey through stunning landscapes. From this point, the group will board the Frognerseteren metro line for a scenic journey through stunning landscapes. As the city fades into the distance, panoramic views will unfold, setting the tone for a day of exploration.
Upon arrival at the Frognerseteren station, breathtaking panoramic views await. A leisurely hike will lead through lush green forests and alongside mysterious small lakes, rumored to be home to the mythical creature Huldra. The journey continues to DNT Fuglemyrhytta, a quaint cabin perfect for relaxing and soaking in the scenery. From there, the adventure proceeds through the forest to the highlight of the trip – the summit of Vettakollen mountain, offering spectacular views of the city and the Oslofjord. Enjoy the crisp, fresh air and capture the moment with photographs.
- Vettakollen Viewpoint - The Vettakollen peak offers the finest view of the city. From this vantage point, one can admire expansive views of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its tranquil coastline, dotted with numerous small islands.
After taking in the view, the group will descend to the metro station and conclude the trip at Jernbanetorget.
