Great way to see more of Oslo - Great way to see more of Oslo - make sure to wear good shoes and ones that can get dirty/withstand water especially if there was rain recently.

Recommend this hike to get a different viewpoint of Oslo - This was a really great hike. It was challenging as it had just rained and required attention to the rocks and roots on the path. Highly recommend solid footwear. Our guide was excellent and was very friendly, thank you. We were very confident in your ability to guide us!

Chivalry is alive and well - Miles was our very well experienced and seasoned guide view of Oslo. Prepared for any weather,(and we experienced all: sun, rain, hail, and lightning throughout our hike) Miles moved seamlessly among the roles as cheerleader, coach, and travel guide. He is the travel guide equivalent of a Swiss Army knife; he can do it all. Best of all, is his willingness to generously share his expertise. BTW, moderate was a challenge for the 70 year olds on our hike.

Views incredible; Guide excellent! - Wow! A hike to remember with impressive views and the friendly company of our guide Mustafa. My husband and I went on this hike with our three kids (age 10, 7, and 7). The hike has some small uphill portions but is largely a descent. It does traverse some areas of roots and rock underfoot but it is doable and not intimidating for generally active participants. We learned about hiking and skiing culture from our guide who also showed us some edible plants and other nature marvels. This was a highlight of my family’s trip to Norway and if I have ever have the fortune to return, I will do this hike again. Mustafa - best guide ever - thank you for your kindness!

Great morning out! - Great experience. Weather was perfect, our guide super friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t know how tough (or not) it would be but not hard at all. Any beginner can do it.

Highly recommended. - Highly recommended and good value for money. Me and my nephew went on a hike with Patricia (and Fluffy 😍) on the 31-03-2024. The weather wasn't great. It was foggy and misty, but it didn't stop us from having an enjoyable and memorable hike. The majority of the route was downhill, so most people will be able to do the walk. Plus, it was loads of fun in the snow and snow spikes are provided.

Snow hike to Vettakollen - We were very lucky with the weather, sunshine at 3°. There was a small group of 14 people. Great hike through Oslo's forests in deep snow, with a really beautiful landscape. The highlight was the beautiful view from Vettakollen 👍🏻 The route was just under 5 km in total and easy to hike. The guide had a lot of interesting things to say about hiking and skiing in Norway. We had a really nice morning, can only recommend it!

Fun, scenic but rushed - Pleasant hike in quiet forest and good views of Oslo and surroundings. The hike was interesting and peaceful but the pace was too quick at times leaving little time to enjoy the surroundings. At times our guide seemed more focussed on keeping a timeline than enjoying the hike. I would have preferred a more relaxed pace.

Turned Around - We take full responsibility for being poorly dressed for a rainy day, but the advertising said a leisure stroll. “We will take a leisurely hike through the glorious green forest” (from the instructions). That was not the case. We were encouraged to take a different route and abandoned, because the trail would be muddy, steep, and slippery. We were told that an injury is a high probability. Why take us in the first place, only to have us go a different way? We had fun on our own and this hike could be done without a guide and be so much cheaper.
