An experience not to miss in Oslo - One of the best experiences in the city! It’s entertaining, enriching and fun. It’s impressive how they have came to create a digital museum experience. I wish there were more museum like this one out there. Don’t miss the game!

Exceeded expectations - 2 hours of fun & interest! I particularly enjoyed the 2 VR experiences, but being able to look at various objects in 3d was great too, especially with the Viking museum being closed.

Loved it - I am a 36 year old woman but the VR game was so much fun 😀 The museum had lots of interesting information on the Viking history and the shop had many cool things to buy.

Not recommended - Overpriced! The souvenir items (from China?) Bad! VR glasses ? - the scenes ... humanely expressed ... getting old.

Almost an scam - All the experiences are nothing more than 3 videos about Vikings and some interactive presentations that look like they’re from 2017. It’s expensive, poor quality, and I feel like I wasted my money.

Do not visit this place! And beware the strange moustache if you do! - We visited The Viking Planet as a family of 5 on September the 1st 2024. Which cost nearly one hundred British pounds. Totally underwhelmed with the experience, it consists of a few rooms in an underground basement and digital screens which if they worked, were still terrible and boring. We gave up after a very short time (approximately 20mins.) with a hey ho attitude of at least we tried. However... In the gift shop there is another VR experience that my 11 year old son wanted to try, so my husband sat on the small chair outside of this whilst he did, myself and other children browsing the gift shop. Unbeknown to us, this small cloakroom with a VR head set strapped to the wall is to be experienced at an additional charge, resulting in a very aggressive and angry man with a peculiar handlebar moustache screaming and shouting at my child! He was unaware my husband was sat just behind him so was rightly greeted with a stern telling off and soon crawled back behind his desk with his tail between his legs and moustache hanging off his face. At the beginning of our arrival , when buying our tickets, the angry moustache man explained that when he visited my hometown, london, he fell down 4 flights of stairs... i can only assume, after meeting him myself, that he was in fact pushed. All in all, a very poorly made and bad Viking experience made worse with really awful staff. Take your time and money elsewhere and visit a real museum not this shambles of an "experience"

Disappointing - Very disappointing. Seeing some movies for such a huge amount of money is not for us. It was informative, but you felt the need to see the real stuff. So we now know that digital museums are not for us.
