Viking VR EXCELLENT - We came here as a bit of a novelty but absolutely loved it. It was better than any museum (we visited a couple of those in Oslo) simply because you learn through watching and doing instead of just reading. Pay for the game - it's really fun! Start the day at 10am with the game, then work your way clockwise round the room for the best experience. P.S. the gift shop had very sturdy umbrellas!

Fun! - Fun place to learn more about Viking life. We got the combination ticket that includes the admission and the VR game. It was really fun, and the service was great . The girls at the reception were attentive to help.

Enjoyable experience, doesn’t take too long, a more involved experience to learn - We found the entry price very fair. We entered via the gift shop and got our ticket from the desk. We found downstairs to have a variety of interactive options. Timelines of Viking history, specific screens dedication to boats, the people, dress etc where you can choose outfits etc and feel like you are part of a video game almost. We had fun getting our photo taken with AI holding various props and sending the result to family for fun. We then did a virtual reality experience. The headsets were really comfortable but had an issue where the video didn’t start and the assistant didn’t realise but eventually it was rectified. There was a glitch with mine as I seemed to be in a weird position on the virtual reality Viking boat which luckily I found amusing and I am sure I could have sorted it out with the assistant but it was only about 10 mins or so. The chair moved as well which was fun! I enjoyed the experience, it’s not a big venue as I guess you could be done in around 1 hour or more depending on how in depth you want to go.

Interactive - Interactive and informative attraction. There are several viewing screens and interactive holographic boards showing the history and lifestyle of the vikings. Very informative, and the VR experience was fun. However, the graphics weren't the best. Unfortunately, I feel the tickets were overpriced in comparison to other museums and attractions in the area.

Far too expensive for the experience. - Far too expensive for experiments. Tickets are much more expensive than other museums when the point is not at all. Virtual reality is nice but the graphics are very ugly with collision bugs in the characters. The rest is a succession of screens with very little historical or interactive interest. The museum is very small. The only nice thing is the Photo Booth but we never received the photos despite two attempts by email and SMS. In short, if the weather is nice go elsewhere and keep your money for waffles.

Bad main attraction. - The main attraction “the vr show”was really bad animated and not what i expexted. This was not for me. The rest of the museum was informative, the hologram was cool and the timeline slides as well. The vr games i did not test so i cannot say anything about it.

What a rip off! Save your money and walk away! - This ridiculous exhibition was terrible! The VR experience was from 100 years ago and lasted all of 10 minutes! Everything else was also outdated and ridiculous! Please save your money and do not come here. It’s unfortunate that the actual museum is closed but this is definitely not the place to come to get any information about Vikings.
