FULL DAY - Everything was very smooth. We were 3 people. We were picked up at the hotel where we stayed and the trip to the first spot lasted 2h, where we took the opportunity to sleep more. We start with the whales. They gave us the goggles and the lifeline. Then they gave us breakfast and we went to Sumilon Island. Then we ate and went to Moalboal. There we did island hopping and were finally taken back to the hotel. A round day starting at 4 in the morning to finish at 6pm. Highly recommended.

Amazing Adventure - I had an amazing time on this trip. The whale shark encounter will be an unforgettable experience. This entire trip from the time my driver, Arnold, picked me up to the time he dropped me off at my residence.
I must say Arnold did an excellent job getting me to the destination safely and returning home safely. He would asked me periodically during our ride to Oslob if I wanted him to adjust how he drove so I would be comfortable. He drove very well, and I had no problem with his driving.
I recommend if you’re coming to the Philippines or if you’re already here to take advantage of this tour. You will not be disappointed.

Long day, but very enjoyable. Driver & guide were Great! - The whole trip was very nice. Our driver Arlo was a great guy and work way too hard. JR was our guide during the Whale Shark experience and lunch. She was pleasant and attentive. She made us feel like VIP the whole time. No waterfall though, I think they didn’t have enough rain or something. The day was long, so we didn’t miss it. The only tip is that for snorkeling, they give you goggle and snorkel but you have to rent the fin. No big deal. Just a note, they want 150 php at the sign in, but they rent them 75 php down the pier. I paid the extra, a little skin tax, I don’t mind.

Highly recommended! - We booked a private tour with the Oslob whale shark encounter, Sumilon Island tour and Moalboal snorkeling with the sea turtles and sardines. Their reservation officer, John M was always on time when responding via email. Our driver, Jomz and our tour guide in Oslob, Merlita were very friendly and polite . They assisted us all throughout and were attentive to all our needs. Our boat crew both in Oslob and in Moalboal were also very helpful and accommodating. I am not a good swimmer but they made me feel at ease and they were always there to give guidance while snorkeling. We really had an amazing and memorable experience! Everything went smoothly from the time we were picked up from our hotel to the time were were dropped off. We highly recommend Cebu Tours! They have a team of professional and knowledgeable staff. This tour was definitely one for the books!

Professionally run private tour - Great well run private tour. While it was a long day of 14hrs it didn't not feel like it as my partner and I had our private car.
Abam was a great driver we was professional and courteous and was on time. In fact he was early.
The tour was so well run and we never felt like we were just waiting around. Ellen who organised our whale shark, lunch and breakfast was great.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing must do - You get to do everything in one day which is great if you’re not here for long. We got a private driver for the whole day that took us around to everything

Loved Every Minute - We had a fantastic time swimming with the whale sharks and sardines! There were 10 whale sharks that day! Our boat guys were so helpful, and took the best pictures for us! Our tour guides Wilson and Saicy were so friendly and helpful. Check out Wilson’s band on Spotify. His song is Missing Mr. Marley by Seladub Warriors. It’s REALLY good 😄 The only downside to the day was heading out to walk on the sandbar, only to be told when we got there that it was high tide so the sandbar wasn’t there. It would have been nice to know that in advance. Overall, it was an incredible day, with the nicest people!

It was ok… - The driver and the tour guide were awesome! They were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not so impressive.
Tumalog Falls were closed so, some level of refund was promised but I don’t believe it was commensurate to what was paid.
Sumilon Sandbar was underwater because it was high tide so, instead of a 2 hour trip to the island to enjoy the water and sandbar, we spent about 15 minutes on the island and about 10 minutes in the water next to the boat dock.
The whale shark encounter was the highlight of the day. The fish are basically led around to each of the boats by what they call fishermen who constantly feed the whale sharks to direct them to the visitors. Not a natural encounter but, it was still an amazing opportunity to see the fish and take some nice videos.
We ultimately chose to skip Pescador Island as it was an additional 2 hour drive from the whale shark location and would have meant about a 6 hour car ride back to our hotel.
Knowing what I know now, I would have just signed up for the whale shark trip and saved my money on the others…

The exploitation of whale sharks - We took the “whale shark and Sumilon Island” package with our hotel, the price was fair.
Departure at 3 a.m., for an arrival at 3:30 a.m. and the wait begins, people arriving little by little.
5:30 a.m. it starts to move since the staff arrive, after the stamp on the arm and the recommendations, "be 5 meters from the animal, do not touch it bla bla bla...." re belote wait until 6:30 a.m. or we get into the fishermen's boats.
1st tip: leave in your swimsuit directly from your hotel and have a waterproof bag, because once in the boat with 15 people it becomes complicated
Then a few meters from the beach the boats (30) position themselves and a fisherman feeds the whale shark so that we can be close to it, obviously the recommendations are forgotten and some are less than 5 meters away and try to touch it , there is no call to order
The animal is magnificent and calm......
During the week and off-peak periods, the usefulness of being present at 3 a.m. is really not justified

Oslob Whale Shark minus Pescador sardine run, minus Sumilon sandbar - Grainy photos/videos. Main gripe? Zero coordination + boat man slow/unprepared in Moalboal. No Sumilon sandbar. No Pescador Island with sardines.
