A lovely Ikebana experience - A lovely and exquisite Ikebana experience with Miri. In this lesson I got to try two compositions, one is free creation, so much fun! The ambience in a Japanse temple elevated the experience to a whole new level.

Best brag for a florist - I work professionally as a floral designer yet I knew nothing about ikebana principles. Miri was able to explain the basic concepts and structures that are its building blocks. I was so impressed! Also, to be learning in such an amazing studio at a temple was the icing on the the cake. Such a beautiful space.

Best authentic Japanese experience - I had my 1st ikebana lesson with Miri. She is very knowledgeable and a very good teacher. She had all the necessary tools for cutting and arranging the flowers. Everything needed for the class was provided and she was even nice enough to bring tea and a snack. Directions were easy to follow. I had a lot of fun and definitely recommend this activity for someone who likes flowers and is looking for an authentic Japanese experience.

Absolutely recommend! - I joined ikebana class with my parents and we loved it! Mayumi-sensei is very patient and explains everything in a very understandable manner. If you are traveling in Japan, I highly recommend to try ikebana in this class!
