- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or in a wheelchair
- Please know that Peles Castle is closed to the public on Mondays through the year and on Tuesdays from August 1st 2024 to May 1st 2025. Should your tour fall within this period, the itinerary will be adjusted to include an exterior view of Peles Castle, with extended visits to Bran Castle and the city of Brasov. Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes to castle policies.

What a great tour! - Tudor was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of history, but also of the economics of his country. He was well-organized to keep our group moving in an unrushed but timely manner.

Beautiful trip in the Carpathians - Very nice tour, but the difference was made by our very nice Guide Monica who entertained us and explained Romania making us want to return. Thank you. I think we'll see each other again.

Stunning, and just what we needed - This was a great tour, but like everything it wasn't long enough in those places. It's not the tours fault there is only so much time in the day.
We had some guest that didn't follow the time lines so we got delayed therefore losing time at some of our locations. We also had traffic delays so that affected our time lines too. This has nothing to do with the company as they can't control people or traffic but it is something to consider when booking.
Hands down I would recommend if you don't have much time and want to visit these locations tho!! Alex our guide was lovely, super knowledgeable, friendly, funny and kind.

Long busy day! - I’ve always wanted to go to Dracula’s castle so we booked this one so we saw everything.
Be prepared. We wasn’t told to pack food etc. take drinks and food the bus is long! 2.5/3 hours. The queues to get
Into the castles are 1.5/2 hours long. You will see groups of people pushing in using the excuse “ my friends are up here” “toilet up here” I’m not joking groups of 30/60 people it’s an absolute shamble. It’s like the castles can’t cope with the amount of Tourists.
Also they want you to pre booked the castle tickets online before you get there. Half the bus got scammed by buying them on a dodgy website so listen to the tour guide to what website to get them from.
Would I come back and
Do this tour again? Absolutely not.
Glad I’ve seen the castles yes but it was a really long day.

Could be done so much better.......... - A very long and tiring day.... which apparently was a two day trip... and should be replanned accordingly.
14 hour day.... 9hrs on the bus....plus 2 x 15min comfort breaks.... meaning only 90mins in each destination...
We would have gladly spent the evening in Brasov and returned the next day.... had this been an option.
The guide was informative but because of large groups, a lot of this was given only to those immediately around him in Peles Castle.... so we did our thing at Bran Castle and in Brasov.... too much talk about favourite restaurants...

In name only - So a few things, firstly this isn't Dracula's castle. When you go into it there is very little about Vlad the Impaler anywhere.
Secondly you will be waiting in a long long line wherein other people will constantly cut in front of you as no one seems to do anything about it.
Prepare to be disappointed and frustrated.

Didn’t show up. Didn’t tell us . Didn’t care! - Travelled all the way from the UK to Bucharest for a couple of nights to do the Peles/ Bran Castle tour. We waited at the pick up point for an hour and were constantly trying to call the emergency line to no avail. An hour later we weretold by another family that they’d cancelled the tour. Other coaches from the same company came and went but our names weren’t on the list so they wouldn’t let us on, despite showing our tickets. The following day one of the castles was closed. Completely ruined our trip which cost a lot to get to. Awaiting a refund for the trip but don’t expect to get a refund for our airfare.

Scam - Lousy, because there's no option for a worse valuation.
We booked to go a few days before and less than 24 hours into the tour we were cancelled because they had sold more tickets than there were places. We went to the meeting place in case something could be done and they told us that they would pick us up on the next bus, after two hours waiting no one showed up. We went to the office and nobody wanted to explain or give us any kind of solution. Plus we asked for a claim sheet and they didn't give it to us because they didn't have any physics. If you can save yourself from hiring an excursion with them, do it without a doubt.
