Well worth it! Once in a lifetime! - Excellent trip! Younes our driver and guide was so kind and kept us informed of our schedule and most importantly made plenty of stops along the way. The places we stayed were very comfortable. The valley tour and the Sahara were fantastic! I would recommend the quad bikes on the way back from the camp. It is extra but great fun. My only issue was the food. The dinner at the camp was good but many of the other meals were not great. But overall the trip was well worth it! Once in a lifetime!

Sahara Trip - The tour through Morocco is very exciting. The stop at the film studios is very touristy and not my thing! But the deeper we drove into the reserve, the more exciting the trip became. When we arrived in the Sahara, the fascination with Morocco's nature was perfect! Our driver Younes shared a lot of personal information with us and made many small stops, which I really liked. He is also incredibly friendly and a very safe driver! All in all, I saw an incredible amount and I am more enthusiastic.

Deserves all the great reviews - Really great adventure. Well looked after by Younes and great experience. The scenic spots along the way out are amazing, only thing to be mindful of is the food on the first day was a little hit and miss, so it's worth bringing a packed meal or at least snacks. The trip into the desert itself is breathtaking, when you first see the dunes appear on the horizon as large as mountains it is quite humbling. The camel ride is bumpy but enjoyable, and there is the option to switch to quad bikes on the way back if you prefer for a charge (50 euro when we did it) which is great fun. For the last day, the drive back is long, doing everything in one day, especially after an early start to catch the sunrise in the desert (which is incredible), but Younes was awesome, making sure we had what we needed for it.

Nice desert camp - The stay in the desert camp was really nice! The only little disappointment was the dinner in the first hotel. But most importantly our tour guide Younes was very kind, drove really good and was always smiling.

Highly recommend - The 3 day Merzouga tour is a must when visiting Marrakech. Our tour guide/driver was Younes. He's the best tour guide we've had in here. He's friendly, gives clear instructions about the plan for the day, speaks good English, and drives responsibly. He even made some additional stops e.g. when he saw baby camels with a shepherd, so we could see it closer and take some photos. On the first day we were picked up from our meet-up location which was only few minutes from our accommodation, which was very convenient. The minibus had a/c and plenty of space for the legs (which wasn't the case on other trips we did in Marrakech). On the first day we had 1h tour around Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate, with a local tour guide (this was additional cost of 20MAD per person). The place is wonderful, but the local guide wasn't the best. The tour felt rushed, no time for taking pictures, and very little information given (and the info that was given was difficult to understand). Nonetheless, the place is beautiful. The hotel we stayed overnight was very decent too (it even had a swimming pool). Next day, on the way to the desert we had a tour around a Berber village with a local guide (this one was included in the price, but gratitude was welcomed) with a demonstration of carpet making (if you were interested you could have bought the carpet). The views in the gorge/valley were beautiful. In the afternoon we arrived to the dessert. You could leave your main/big luggage in the minibus and only take a small overnight luggage to the desert camp. The small luggage was taken in a car to the camp, while you ride a camel for about 1h to the camp. It was quite scary at first and requires quite a good balance, especially when going downhill. You can take photos as you go, if you feel confident to release one hand from the handle, but be careful to not drop the phone. In our group no one dropped anything, but we "found" one phone and a scarf, so I'm not sure if they would stop to pick it up for you if you drop it. On the way we stopped once and the guy leading the camels took photos for everyone separately and in group. We arrived to the camp before the sunset. We had some time to take photos and do sandboarding. Then we were given the rooms, which were better than I expected (a towel and two warm blankets were provided; there was one socket in the room). The showers and toilets are in separate buildings- keep it in mind if you need to use it at night as it's very cold at night. The evening meal and the breakfast next morning at the camp wasn't the best. After the dinner you could enjoy some local music by the fire, or go on a top of the dune and do stargazing. At night the temperature drops significantly. However, the two blankets keep you warm- I was wearing shorts and tshirt pj and didn't feel any cold- until next morning when I left the bed. The breakfast was before the sunrise (at 5:30am), after breakfast we had some time to take more photos on the dunes. On the way back we had a choice to use camels again or pay extra 400-500MAD to use a quad or a buggy. On the last day, there are only stops for toilet and lunch. On the first two days we also had some stops for scenic views to take photos. Lunches are not included in the price (in the places we stopped to eat the prices varied 100-160MAD per person). Food was hit and miss, in my opinion the (extra paid) lunches were better than the meals that were included. Overall, it was a great experience, although I wish there was a bit more time at the actual desert/camp (while it's still light).

Great Sahara visit with camel ride. - Great 3 days experience, with great hospitality from our main tour guide Younes. He so superbly has taken care of us always doing extra stops for interesting sights and giving advice all along. In the first day we could experience the UNESCO rates village , reaching out in time to XII century. The local guide could be a bit better. A very good lunch in the local restaurant, Younes secured us a good discount. A very nice hotel at the end with large nice rooms and good amenities. Very good dinner, with Moroccan cuisine, in a terrace view restaurant. A bit tired to take advantage of outdoor pool. Second day was a nice experience of Berber village at 1400 metres height , experience the tribe living and having some presentation of their carpets knitting skills. Mohamed, our local guide did a great job here. A great stop to view the canyon with steep 400 metres above you. Main attraction of the day was camel riding through Saharan dunes. A great experience, or great ish depending what you like. I enjoyed it both ways, and it only reminds me why life is so much comfortable these days, lol :). The willing could also try sand boarding. After observing a beautiful sunset, We stayed in in tent camp for the night. In very spacy tents, more like camping rooms. Very good dinner followed by African music at the fire till late night. There was great view of starry night, nothing beats a view at the dessert. Next day early start to see the sunset over Sahara and after breakfast a return ride on camels to our pick up points. Some could choose quads ride as well. Last , not least, all travel was done safely, which is not always a local practice. Overall great experience and once again Younes for your great hospitality.
