Tizi n Tichka - Starting from Marrakech, the journey will take you over the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass through the Ounila Valley, adorned with ancient villages and kasbahs.
Ait Ben Haddou - The trip continues south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will explore the renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. This stunning location has been the backdrop for famous films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. There will be free time to enjoy lunch in town.
Ouarzazate - Overnight accommodation is provided in Ouarzazate, where you will also enjoy dinner at your hotel.
You will have the opportunity to explore Ouarzazate’s tranquil medina either before or after dinner.
Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Nkob - Merzouga Desert - Camel Ride and Night in a Nomad Tent
Draa-Tafilalet - After breakfast, the journey continues to the Draa Valley, home to one of Morocco’s longest rivers. Along the way, there will be stops to capture photos and admire the stunning kasbahs and Berber villages lining the route, as well as the beauty of the Draa Valley.
Nkob - Lunch will be served in Nkob or Alnif.
Merzouga - The drive proceeds to the magnificent Merzouga dunes, where motorized transport will be exchanged for camels to venture into the heart of the desert.
Merzouga Desert - Upon reaching the camp, you will witness the sunset, followed by dinner, and spend the night in the dunes, enjoying Berber music or stargazing.
Merzouga – Rissani Market - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Merzouga - This morning offers a ‘date with the sunrise.’ In the desert, waking up early is essential to witness the spectacular sunrise from a nearby dune. After breakfast, the return to Merzouga will be on camels.
Rissani - After breakfast, the journey leaves the desert for Rissani, where the market will be visited (market days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).
Erfoud - The trip continues to Erfoud, known for its fossil discoveries, before heading to the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves.
Todra Gorges - An hour later, the Todra Gorges will be reached. The river has carved a cliff-sided canyon, offering free time to walk through the gorge and appreciate the landscape’s beauty before lunch.
Dades Gorges - In the afternoon, the journey continues to the Dadès Valley, also known as the Fig Valley. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be in Dades, with the hotel offering panoramic views of the valley and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Palm Groves of Skoura - High Atlas - Marrakech
Dades Gorges - After breakfast, enjoy one of the best views of the Dadès Valley from a strategic lookout point, showcasing the impressive number of kasbahs.
Skoura - The journey continues along the “one thousand kasbahs road,” through the Roses Valley and the vast Skoura palm groves, reaching Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former residence of the Glaoui, the Pasha of Marrakech.
Ouarzazate - If interested, a visit to the cinema studios in Ouarzazate can be arranged before enjoying lunch in town.
Tizi n Tichka - In the afternoon, the return to Marrakech begins, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass with stops for photos. The landscape transitions from a moonlike terrain to one full of vibrant colors.
Marrakech - Arrival in Marrakech is expected around 6 pm, marking the end of the adventure.
