Amazing trip into the desert - Our two day trip with Houssine was amazing. We enjoyed seeing more of beautiful Morocco. The camp we stayed at was very luxurious and our hosts were lovely. The food was delicious too. Highlight of the trip has to be the camel ride into the camp as the sun was setting.

A fabulous trip - Houssine and the driver have been excellent. The camel ride was great fun and the accommodation was wonderful. Expect a lot time on the bus but worth it for some of the views and places.

Opening the gates Sahara - We are a couple from Lithuania, we had an amazing experience under the stars near the gates of Sahara. Even though we drove quite a long way, the views through the windows were mesmerising. As well, big heads up to our travel guide Mohmed for warm introduction to Moroccan culture, as well for the guides inside the desert camp. Would recommend!

Memorable and authentic experience. - Our guide was Ismail and he is very charismatic, friendly, and organized. We had a lot of fun exploring the charming Ait Ben Hadou village, although it would’ve been nice to have more time. It was still enough though. The camel ride was enjoyable because it’s very different from riding a horse and it’s also beautiful as they make sure to take you during sunset. After the sun sets, we arrived just on time to our Berber camp (the people indigenous to Morocco). There, they treated us to an epic tagine, good company, and Berber music around the fire. We finished the night with star gazing before sleeping in a luxury tent (compared to regular camping ofc). The next morning, it’s mostly driving back except for a very enjoyable lunch on a balcony with mountains hovering over you. I’m glad we did it and next time will probably do a 3-4 day trip. Disclaimers you should know: 1. it’s a LOT of driving… about 6 hours each day total. The first day is broken up with stops to a mountainside cafe, a town that’s been around since the 12th century and where they filmed many famous movies including the gladiator. 2. The camel ride is a lot of fun but be warned that the dunes are pretty small since we only get to the tip of the Sahara desert. If you want to get deep into the desert, you have to do a 3 or 4 day trip. 3. Bring layers if you’re going in the winter cuz it cools down a lot. I wore two layers of pants and two sweatshirts. I recommend a hat and gloves too.

Unforgettable memory - This 2-day trip from Marrakech to Zagora is an experience like no other – perfectly blending culture, adventure, and comfort. From the moment we set off, everything was thoughtfully organized to create a seamless and unforgettable journey. One pleasant surprise was the added comfort of WiFi in the mini-bus! It was such a thoughtful touch, letting us stay connected and share our incredible journey in real-time. The camel ride into the Zagora dunes at sunset was absolutely magical. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sand in golden hues. In the camp we were welcomed with warm hospitality, delicious traditional food, and a cozy fire under a sky full of stars. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes was worth every second of lost sleep. The peaceful beauty of the desert at dawn was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. For anyone looking to get a taste of the Sahara in just two days, this trip is absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for adventure, culture, and a lifelong memory!

2 days, 2 unique expériences : Ait Ben Haddou and à taste of the Sahara - Excellent excursion if you only have 2 days to spare. (Next time I will take 4 days.) Driver (Jalal) and guide (Ismael) were great. While there is a lot of driving, seeing Ait Ben Haddou is amazing. And the beginning of the Sahara is a wonderful experience (despite the camel!). The camp experience is fun and well organised, but take warm clothes as it can get really cold.

Wonderful time solo traveling in Morocco - Had a wonderful time in the desert as a solo traveler. The whole experience was very well organized and the host was very friendly. Few things to note is just that there’s no WiFi in the tent, and you would stay in different campsite depends on the option you go for. I paid for premium tent and had the whole tent with private bathroom myself.
