Check out of your Oudtshoorn accommodation in the morning and participate in an optional “elephant observation in nature” experience (at your own expense) at a nearby reserve. Observe and follow elephant guides alongside these gentle giants in their natural bushveld environment. Their parents were poached in Kruger National Park, and to keep the family together, the herd was hand-reared and now roams the vast Cango Valley at Buffelsdrift Private Game Reserve. Visitors can observe and experience these lovable creatures’ caring nature in the wild Karoo setting from a safe distance under the guidance of their human caregivers and guides. Bloukrans Bridge - Enjoy a scenic coastal drive with views of Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, and Nature’s Valley, and prepare for the adrenaline-pumping view ahead: one of the world’s highest bungee sites at Bloukrans Bridge. Standing 709 feet (216 meters) above the Bloukrans River, the bridge is the perfect place to conquer your fears with an optional bungee jump! The excitement begins as you zip line to the jumping platform beneath the massive bridge. If jumping isn’t for you, get your adrenaline fix by watching others bounce through the air or take a relaxing walk in the nearby Tsitsikamma forest area. The duration of the bungee jump activity can vary depending on group size and how busy it is.

Sedgefield – Cape Town

Botlierskop Private Game Reserve - (Travel route today: approximately 450km / 6 hours - excluding game drive)
Depart your accommodation in the morning and begin the journey back to Cape Town. Enjoy your final day of adventure with an included game drive by 4x4 vehicle to search for some members of the Big Five animals. This 2-hour safari drive focuses on spotting wildlife in Botlierskop Game Reserve’s camps. Look out for African elephants, Cape buffaloes, lions, and rhinos, as well as giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests. Your game ranger will use their local knowledge to track the wildlife through this coastal renosterveld and Cape fynbos, sharing stories about the animals you encounter and fun facts about the region’s plants.
