How to visit the souss massa national park /Agadir / morocco - I have only one comment to do. Momo is the kindest person I met in morocco. Always smilling, full of good vibration. We discovered the souss massa national park and really enjoy it. After that he bring us to a tipic restaurant in massa, and it Was amazing. Then we went to the river to see some flamingos and local birds. Thank you so much my friend momo. I wish you the best Dereck

The best birding guide - Mohamed is a great and knowledgeable guide with a lot of experience in birdwatching and wildlife. He knows the Massa/Souss area and its birds extremely well and will take you to the very best spots. Highly recommended.

Don’t expect help with bird identification. Expensive lift to a great area for birds. - Mohamed was a lovely person. Great knowledge of Moroccan history and politics, but he did not know his birds. This is not a guided birdwatching trip with birds being pointed out to you and correctly identified. On the drive out to Souss Massa we saw some interesting birds, but Mohamed didn’t point them out or react. When we arrived Mohamed had small binoculars, no scope. Good job we had brought our own binoculars. When we started walking Mohamed referred to a list on his phone and was constantly Googling what birds were. And still got identification wrong. I am no expert but know a little owl isn’t a grouse, a Stone Chat isn’t a Little Boy or a Dunlin a Sanderling. At one point Mohamed offered to throw stones into a bush, full of birds, to flush them out! Unfortunately my wife was unwell, so we cut the day short and can’t comment on the Berber lunch. Mohamed was lovely, kind person and yes he took us to a great area for birdwatching, but I expected him to know what we were seeing without always using his phone. For the amount we paid I was expecting a guided birdwatching trip, not just being driven to a birdwatching spot. For those interested we saw: Osprey, Balded Ibis, Glossy Ibis, Black -winged Stilt, Redshanks, Spoonbills, Little Egret, Flamingo, Purple Heron, Grey Heron, Avocet, Little Owl, Greenshank, Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Dunlin, Lesser Yellowlegs, Common Bulbul, Sardinian Warbler, Moussier’s Redstart to name but a few that my knowledge could easily identify. No help from Mohamed or Google!
