The first point of interest offers a stunning panoramic view of the lush agricultural fields, where vegetables, grains, fodder, and olives flourish, the latter being a hallmark of the valley. Capture these scenic vistas with your camera, and for those intrigued, a visit to the argan oil cooperative is planned. Here, you’ll learn how Berber women skillfully crack argan nuts using traditional methods, employing two unique stones to extract the oil. The journey continues to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, where a local mountain guide will lead a 90-minute tour.
• Asni - Following the scenic trek in the Ourika Valley, our route ascends through the mountains, offering a glimpse of the Atlas region’s diverse palette and timeless villages with their enduring earthen homes. Our destination is Sidi Fares, a quaint village where lunch awaits in a traditional Berber dwelling with views of the towering High Atlas Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 meters. Indulge in authentic Berber cuisine, featuring a menu of Berber tagine, couscous, and fruit. The return trip to Marrakech will take us through the Asni Valley and the village of Tahannaout.
