Great experience - Our family had a great time during the desert safari. We took great pictures, had a lot of fun on the dunes, good food, entertaining shows and our guide Rasak was the best. I definitely recommend this tour.

Night in the desert, recommended!!! - We have just returned from the desert safari near Abu Dhabi and we are very happy. We recommend asking to have Abdul Rasheed as Guide, it was great! Punctual, always very careful to make guests feel good, great driver and also great photographer! We spent about 17 hours among dunes jamping, camel farm and base camp where we had dinner and slept under the stars. Excellent dinner with typical dishes and grilled meat. Very hot in August, but it was really worth it! Thank you so much!

Dunes, camels, dancing and sunrise - Hakeem our fabulous guide picked us up on time from our hotel and we drove into the desert. He was very communicative and pointed out many interesting sights on the way. Once we were in the desert and tyres deflated there was an adrenaline fuelled session of dune bashing which had our daughter comparing to a roller coaster. We stopped for beautiful views and photos then on to a camel farm to meet some of these fragrant and characterful animals for more pics. Soon we arrived at the base camp/compound where there were many activities on offer. The ladies enjoyed henna tattoos which were very well done and are lasting well. There were quad bikes, buggy’s, a short camel ride, shisha and sand boards available. As the sun went down we were treated to a decent BBQ with grilled meats, salads and even chips if you felt the need. Evening entertainment was an excellent belly dancer and a tanoura who had us captivated by his display and endurance in the desert heat. Everyone apart from us then headed back to their hotels. We were the crazy English who had opted to stay over in the desert with no A/C! The night was hot but Hakeem and the lovely attendant at the camp made us feel as comfortable as they could and we felt safe as we slept on and off and watched for stars and satellites. We woke early and were treated to a mesmerising sunrise on our own sat on a sand dune overlooking the camp. A fantastic experience made personal by Hakeem and the lovely staff at the camp.

Incredible, high quality experience - Incredible tour with an incredible guide (Abdul Rasheed)! My wife and our 3 kids had the adventure of a lifetime through the desert with Abdul, flying through the dunes, yet feeling perfectly safe. While everything was amazing, including the BBQ being one of the best meals of our trip, the real highlight was the personal service and attention we received from our driver and guide; our children hugged Abdul when we said goodbye! Would highly recommend to anyone!

5 star unforgettable tour! - Fantastic experience! I can only recommand it! Perfect service, very friendly people, excellent food and quality beds for the night… didn’t expect it would be so nice and impressive. Abdul Rasheed was extremely kind, helpful and devoted. Many interesting information were given to us and we left with stars in the eyes and joy in the heart!

Amazing overnight desert experience - The experience was really nice! Abdul Rasheed, our amazing guide, picked us up from the hotel, we then went dune bashing and visited a camel farm. The dune bashing was a lot of fun, and Abdul made sure that everyone was having fun and staying safe. We then arrived at the camp site where there were a lot of activities to do (sandboarding, henna, dressing up etc.). The BBQ dinner was delicious and the performances were really entertaining. We were the only two people staying overnight so we got a lot of extra attention from Abdul, he played cards with us, took us star gazing and then brought us to our tent. We woke up in time to see the sunrise, had a great breakfast and then back to Abu Dhabi.

Unforgettable adventure - We had the pleasure to enjoy a wonderful afternoon in the dunes and overnight stay at the camp. Our personal guide, Abdul Rasheed, was the best! As we were the only ones for the overnight stay in the camp, we had time for stargazing together and enjoyed great conversations. Abdul Rasheed made our adventure perfect, we really enjoyed it! Thanks a lot!

Overnight desert experience near Abu Dhabi - Really nice experience as described. Gives a taste of "desert life", while also offering various entertainment activities. The kids especially enjoyed the sand boarding! Many thanks to Mr. Abdul Rasheed for the comfortable support.

Forget about it if you want a guaranteed serene night. It was sleepless, loud and awful. - TL;DR: NO SLEEP due to noise. Regrets. A family member and I booked this stay during a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in Abu Dhabi. Their site promised the following: "Retreat to your cozy Bedouin-style tent for a night under the stars, serenaded by the gentle sounds of the desert." The day was OK. But when we wanted to sleep... a nearby camp (~300m away) started making an insane noise around 11pm. Picture trying to sleep in a tent, dead tired, when suddenly you start hearing extremely loud Arabic/Indian music and people driving quads crazily around *our* camp until 4am+! It was the UAE version of a rave party. We tried asking some staff for help but the reply was always "we cannot do anything". Some staff seemed to sleep in better "solid" houses, so they probably were much less affected by the noise. Imagine your neighbor starting his lawn mower at midnight right below your window. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep. This ruined our experience and our memories of this vacation. The next morning, when we complained, the staff's reply was "not our fault". Still, although we strongly suspect that this was not a one-off occurrence (the staff was clearly uncomfortable when we asked about it), we might have been exceptionally unlucky. So, we asked for a partial refund, which is reasonable given the circumstances. Their reply was a run-of-the-mill apology and not a single cent. They used the ol' "we transferred your refund request" with no follow-up from management. We concluded the safari with a nasty taste in our mouth. Fun fact: we booked the stay directly on their website, so Emirates Tours & Safari LLC didn't have to pay Viator's cut. Not giving up a commercial gesture/partial refund is just petty. To sum up: forget about it if you want a guaranteed serene night. PS: unfortunately, it is not possible to upload videos on Tripadvisor. If needed, I can provide a video proving what I am saying.
