Respectful Rembering Holocaust Victims - Seeing the victims personal confiscated possessions was quite impactful. The worst events of human existence we must visit as to never forget.

100% do this - We went on the Salt Mine / Auschwitz day trip and it could not have been any easier. We had amazing communication from Christopher who organised an Uber from our apartment to the bus pickup point. Our driver for the day was Peter. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Peter would tell you exactly what was going to happen next and he had the tickets sorted and got us to our tour guides at each destination. Then at the end of the tours Peter would drop you off at the area near your hotel. It's really easy. If you want to see these incredible locations, definitely go with Choose Cracow. For the price (which I thought was great value) you save yourself the headache of arranging your own transport and buying the tickets separately. Thanks Christopher and Peter for making it a great day!

Highly recommend - The whole tour was really well organised. I booked the tickets for this tour a month in advance and the day before the tour I received a wassap message with our instructions and time to be picked up. Our driver Martin picked us up at the exact time he said he would and the bus we travelled in was smart, clean and had air conditioning. Martin explained where he was taking us, how long each tour would take and the approximate journey times. It was a long day out but it was an incredible day. We went to the salt mines first, please be prepared to walk down many many steps, wear comfortable footwear, no open toed sandals and bring a hoodie or jacket as it is cold down in the mines 140 metres below ground. This tour was brilliant, our tour guide Veronica was so knowledgeable and showed us all the amazing chambers and sculptures throughout the mine. Please don't worry there is a miners lift to take you back up to the top once the tour is finished. We then went to Auschwitz and Birkenau, understandably the most emotional tour but a must see for everyone to experience. Our tour guide here was very knowledgeable and compassionate. The journey back to Krakow took 1 Hour and 20 mins and we got dropped off right outside our hotel. All in all I highly recommend this double day trip out.

Overall a great day - We absolutely loved this tour collective. The entire day was well worth it. The Salt mine was amazing and nothing like what we expected mind blowing to see the creativity from the workers. Our tour guide was very friendly happy and knowledgeable. Auschwitz Birkenau experience was indescribable as expected although we have one small gripe in that the tour itself was very rushed and we felt like we didn’t get the time to stop, reflect whilst in such an important memorial place. Would potentially research into more personal tour next time. Also the guide really needed a headset for the Birkenau experience this was a little hard to hear in such an open space with such a large group. Overall this was a great day well organised from day prior communication, pick up, lunches and drop off at accommodation.

Faultless - Excellent trip, we had Martin as a driver and he was great, very friendly. The whole day ran smoothly, plenty of breaks and opportunities to rest which was needed given it was a long day. The company sent us details via WhatsApp of the pick up, all other details and reminded us to take ID which was massively appreciated. Thank you!

Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Full Day Tour - Well worth the trip, very skilled guide. Take care and wear good walking shoes, there is a lot of walking.

A very important and worthwhile experience. - Extraordinary tour of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Be prepared for a very sobering experience (as it should be) and a lot of steps as this is an expansive walking tour of both sites. This is a world-class tour of one of the most important and devastating locations in all of world history. Our guide was excellent. The salt mine tour is interesting. It's a fascinating place and a very bizarre place. We would recommend that who have time do the salt mine tour and Auschwitz on separate days. For those with limited time, combining them into a full-day tour makes sense, but the physical demands (and at Auschwitz, emotional demands) would make the experiences better for those who have the extra time for two trips away from Krakow.

Highly recommend these experiences - This trip involved a long day and a lot of walking, which we loved. The Salt Mine was amazing and we had an excellent tour guide . The Concentration Camps were sobering, humbling, and heavy on the heart. Our tour guide had a very extensive knowledge of the history, but spoke very fast and with a thick accent. My husband and I had trouble understanding him, so we missed a good portion of what he was saying. It’s nothing personal. He was outstanding as far as information and was open to questions.
