A brilliant service from start to finish - We organised the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum trip so very easily for our family of 6. From the start it was a first class service. Great communication throughout. Transport arrived bang on time and Lucas our driver was great not only as a driver but as a communicator with the group. We were taken to both camps and our guide Mikel was exceptional. A patient and informative guide who was extremely personable respectful and so very well informed. We were taken back to our hotel at the end of the day and had a great experience. Highly recommend Mr Shuttle tours and will be using them again for our next trip as we would like to see the salt mines next time

An emotional but respectful Tour... - Booked last minute with Mr. Shuttle. Easy website and great communication. Very early start but no crowds or queues. Very nice driver and on time. Guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. A place we have always wanted to respectfully visit and no film or book prepares you! Emotional but a must visit...Least we forget!

Mr Shuttle Tours are to be recommended. - Cannot fault Mr Shuttle. Every transfer we used was excellent. From pick up at the airport, the tours and airport drop off. Always on time and very polite. Highly recommended. We did the Auschwitz-Birkenhau Memorial trip the day after we did the Salt Mines tour which was excellent. I asked for lunch to be suppled on both tours but only received lunch on day one. It was missed off from our second tour. However, this is a minor fault. As expected, Auschwitz was a thought provoking and heart breaking experience. I only wish that the tour was a little less rushed.

Excellent tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau - Our Auschwitz-Birkenau tour guide was exceptional. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable in all aspects. Our mini-bus was clean and comfortable, the video film shown en route was very informative, and our driver/guide was also excellent. The only negative was lack of clarity on the morning pickup time. Initial booking said pickup would be between 7-8 am with return by 4 pm. Notification on day before said our specific pickup time at our location was 7 am. This was then later changed to 5:30 am, and then changed again to 5:50 am. If one wasn't paying close attention to their phone, they could end up missing the tour. I think better consistency is warranted. The return time originally stated was also inaccurate, even when adjusting for the earlier departure time (got back considerably earlier).

Well organised trip - A very well organised visit. Comfortable journey in an eight seater mini bus which picked up and dropped off at the hotel. The guide provided was informative and approachable. A harrowing experience but a very good history lesson. It was very cold so wrap up warm. The only negative was the pick up time, we wanted to go early and the booking advised 7am (to be confirmed 13 hours before) our time was confirmed as 5.40am! Although they state time to be confirmed this is a very big difference to 7am. The driver was also not very friendly.

Great Tour - Guide was very knowledgeable of the locations and was able to share insight into each of the buildings. The pick up from the hotel and skipping the line was more than worth the money the tour cost. Pulling into the parking lot in the shuttle van at 7:00 am and seeing a line already wrapped around the building to buy tickets, I knew I had made the right choice in tours. Walking right in and straight to a guided tour was wonderful. The only complaint I have was the tour felt a little rushed, mainly during the second half at Birkenau but I would highly recommend this tour to anyone if nothing else but to skip the long line.

All in all, a good experience - So, we did both self guided tours of Auschwitz & Birkenau. We arrived early afternoon, queues were fine and waited no longer than maybe 20 minutes for our tickets. I imaging if you came earlier in the day, that might not be the case. We started with Birkenau. A vast site so your going to need a few hours here at least. Its impressive how the Polish government have policed/managed the site to protect it I expected more but what I saw was interesting. Auschwitz museum was a little more interesting due the content its amassed and the so well put together site. I thought they might be more there but again, very interesting and crowd ish free to a degree on the timing front. There were a few idiots that dint listen and took pictures where they should not of - and a few taking selfies - idiots!!!! A few pointers for you here if your thinking of visiting. No ID, no entry Bags - read the sites info on that one eating and drink - as above All in all, a good experience and a great coach guide on top - Thank you Mark

Large group tour, very rushed - This is a large group tour (we had 29). I found that with that large of a group it is impossible to take the time necessary to appreciate what happened there and the huge impact it had. We quickly walked by things and had no chance to linger at all. There were places at the camp we didn’t see because the group was too large. We walked by things I wish were explained. The trip in the van to Auschwitz was very cramped. They play a movie but if you are anywhere near the back you will not hear it. It’s a shame because it looked really interesting. Overall, the tour guide was fine. The skip the line part was great but the rest left me with more questions than answers. The individual headphones really helped since most of the tour I could barely see my guide. If you want time to really see the camps and to be able to ask questions, this is not the tour for you. I really want to go back so I can see more but I don’t know if I’ll ever be in Poland again. I was pretty disappointed.

Rushed and frantic - We booked through Mr Shuttle to do the Auschwitz and Birkenau tour. The transport to, from and between the sites was excellent. However the tours themselves were rushed and didn’t really do justice to the sites. Clearly the tour guide was working to a very strict time constraint and you are essentially whisked through without any time to look at exhibits, take things in or reflect. You would often get left behind if you dared not keep up with the pace of the tour guide. A number of key features at both sites were omitted from the tours. Birkenau came across as the most rushed; the tour guide marched us to the top of the site, and then quickly back to the bottom again and it wasn’t easy to keep up the pace he was setting on sometimes uneven ground. We finished the day feeling a bit bemused by it all, and just felt like we’d been hurtled through it for the sake of keeping to a set timetable. These two sites deserve far more time and respect, and this tour really only ticks the box for anyone who just wants to say ‘i’ve been there’.
